He elaborated that their opposing Democratic events were more expensive in comparison, citing an instance of Biden hosting an event in New York that demanded half a million dollars per attendance in March.

Before the fundraising event, he stated to the BBC that he would be taken aback if Trump Sr. failed to make a virtual appearance.
