Authorities have shared an image of Pankaj Lamba, whom they suspect has left the country.

Authorities are currently looking for the spouse of Harshita Brella following the discovery of her body in the trunk of a vehicle.

They suspect that Pankaj Lamba killed 24-year-old Ms. Brella in Northamptonshire earlier this month.

Mr. Lamba is believed to have left the country after driving her body to Ilford, located in east London.

Ch Insp Paul Cash from Northamptonshire Police emphasized, "I encourage anyone who has heard this message or is reading it to reach out to us if they noticed anything unusual in the past week or have any details, even if they seem insignificant."

Authorities have stated that they will keep seeking any details that could help clarify the circumstances surrounding Ms. Brella's situation.

In the early hours of Thursday, police discovered Ms. Brella from Corby, Northamptonshire, inside a car on Brisbane Road in Ilford.

On Wednesday, Northamptonshire Police received calls expressing worries about her well-being. This prompted them to find her body and open a murder inquiry.

The police department stated that they had to make a required report to the Independent Office for Police Conduct since they had prior interactions with Ms. Brella.

The Northamptonshire Telegraph was the first to reveal that she was issued a domestic violence protection order. This order was put in place in early September and remained active for 28 days.

Authorities have since verified that the order was established prior to Ms. Brella's passing.

Ch Insp Cash depicted her as a young lady in her early twenties, with a bright future ahead and so much to look forward to.

“It’s truly heartbreaking that her life has come to an end like this,” he stated.

Over 60 detectives are on the case, exploring various leads and possibilities.

The Major Crime Unit for Special Operations in the East Midlands, along with Northamptonshire Police, is collaborating with the Metropolitan Police to investigate the details surrounding Ms. Brella's death.

This involves figuring out the specific place and time when the event occurred, according to the unit.

Northamptonshire Police reported that a forensic autopsy conducted at Leicester Royal Infirmary on Friday confirmed that Ms. Brella was murdered.

The police announced that they will increase the number of neighborhood officers patrolling Corby in the next few days to provide reassurance to the community.

On Sunday, law enforcement officials were present in the neighborhood where Ms. Brella resided.
