Viktor Gyokeres, the forward for Sporting Clube de Portugal, is generating a lot of positive attention as rumors swirl about a potential move to Manchester United.
The Swedish forward has emerged as one of the most sought-after talents in Europe after his outstanding showings with Sporting CP. Gyokeres has scored 26 goals in just 18 games across all competitions for the Portuguese club.
Despite having a £83 million buyout clause in his contract, reports suggest that Sporting president Frederico Varandas would allow him to leave next summer for a fee between €60-70 million (£50-58 million). Ruben Amorim, who is a fan of Gyokeres, has already stated that a January transfer for the striker is not on the cards, but a move in the summer could be likely.

Before the international break, Gyokeres had an incredible week, netting a hat-trick against Manchester City in the Champions League. Following that performance, he added five goals in two matches for Sweden in the Nations League.
During their 6-0 victory against Azerbaijan on Tuesday evening, Gyokeres scored four goals. This brings his total to nine goals in the tournament, surpassing Erling Haaland, who netted seven goals for Norway.
"We gave it our all and aimed for a win with multiple goals, and we achieved that," Gyokeres mentioned after the game. "It was an enjoyable evening, and I was glad to get on the scoresheet. I'm feeling fit, eager, and determined to find the net frequently. I believe I tend to position myself well, which means more goals will come."
In the meantime, midfielder Emil Forsberg commented: "He’s amazing and on an unmatched goal-scoring run. He keeps improving and continues to excel at what he does best."
After their victories against Slovakia and Azerbaijan, Sweden moved to the top of the Nations League C group, earning a spot in the second division of the tournament.
