The video game sequel GTA VI trailer from Rockstar Games has been shared rapidly across the internet in the hours since it was released.

The creative team behind Rockstar Games had to unveil their trailer earlier than planned on the fifth of December, as the video depicting a made-up rendition of Miami called Vice City, accompanied by the song “Love is a Long Road” by Tom Petty, had been leaked to the internet.

This particular game belongs to the Grand Theft Auto series and follows GTA V, which was launched back in 2013 and is presently the second most successful video game ever.

The response to the preview was mainly favorable, as enthusiasts admired the exceptional quality of the game's visuals, and the evident choice to center on a woman lead character - which is a first in the series.

"I'm unable to express my joy through words as I am left speechless after watching the GTA 6 trailer. It was an unexpected surprise that gave me goosebumps," a fan expressed their excitement on X/Twitter.

"The GTA 6 Trailer is absolutely breathtaking. A person commented without any criticism."

"Wow! Congratulations to all the members of the GTA 6 development team at Rockstar Games! The game appears to be amazing. It's regrettable that the trailer was leaked prematurely and spoiled the excitement a little, but the trailer itself looks absolutely dazzling! We can't wait for 2025!" another person remarked.

"Too bad the GTA 6 trailer got leaked, as it is always enjoyable to share the experience of watching it and getting excited as a group. However, I have to say, the trailer looks extremely over-the-top. I am impressed with how Rockstar consistently delivers such amazing content. Although, it seems like we will have to wait until 2025 to get our hands on it," another enthusiast commented.

Nevertheless, many enthusiasts expressed their disappointment about the extensive period they must endure before they can experience the latest version. The launch of GTA VI is scheduled for 2025, implying that loyal followers will have to be patient for at least a whole year more before they can immerse themselves in the thrill of the game.

"Can you believe that GTA VI won't be released until 2025? It's a whole decade from now!" exclaimed a user on X. They even shared a GIF of Peter Griffin from the TV show Family Guy destroying his own TV and throwing it out of the window to express their frustration.

Another individual expressed their disappointment, saying that since GTA 6 will not be released until 2025, they will likely only have the opportunity to play three more versions of the game before their lifetime comes to a close.

Some individuals mentioned the rapid spread of the trailer, as the YouTube video received more than 49 million views as of now.

Someone posted on X that the trailer for GTA VI has become Rockstar's 4th most watched video within just five hours.

The Grand Theft Auto series is highly praised and well-liked in the gaming community, and the most recent games are often considered to be some of the greatest video games of all time.

Although GTA VI is anticipated to showcase a unique storyline, its environment will be an enhanced rendition of Vice City, the place that was previously highlighted in the 2002 video game, Grand Theft Auto: Vice City.

The specific day that GTA VI will come out has not been made known.
