Between September 4 and 18, many Greene King pubs will be offering discounted pints to customers as the weather gets cooler.

The deal will be up for grabs all day, every day, even on weekends. Each bar will have only one type of beer available for the offer, such as Amstel, Carlsberg, Fosters, Flint Eye, Pravha, Tennent’s, Carling, Coors Light, Innis & Gunn, Estrella, or West 4 Lager.

Please note that there are some exceptions to keep in mind. The promotion will not be valid at branches in London, and certain Greene King chains are not included. This applies to Hungry Horse pubs and Farmhouse Inns.

Olivia Robertson, who is in charge of marketing for Greene King pubs, mentioned: "Although we can't promise that the weather in Great Britain will improve, we can promise that there will be enjoyable times ahead with our special offer of £2 pints. This offer is a reason to celebrate the season and an opportunity for friends and family to come together socially before summer ends. You can enjoy this offer at any of our 700+ pubs across the country."

"Local Greene King pubs are also getting in on the end of summer sale action, just like the high street shops. Why not stop by your favorite pub and take advantage of the deals?"

"Our Greene King team is always ready to serve all our guests in a responsible manner."

This deal will bring joy to people who like to visit pubs. They have noticed that alcohol prices have gone up in recent years. Recent data reveals that the typical cost of a pint in the UK is currently £4.70, a significant increase from £3.73 in January 2020.

The abrupt rise of 26 percent is a result of extremely high inflation from 2021 to 2023, peaking at 11.1 percent in 2022. Additionally, household expenses have been rising much faster than wages in recent years, causing a decline in the pub industry as individuals focus on essential spending.

The pub industry has been severely affected by Covid-19 and the current high cost of living. In 2023, the amount of pubs closing down reached the highest level in ten years, with 769 establishments shutting their doors permanently.

The industry is expected to improve with the recent drop in inflation, as it reached the Bank of England's target of two percent in May and June. Despite this positive development, it may take some time for prices to fully recover to levels seen before the pandemic, as many pubs are still facing challenges.
