The popular TV show Grace on ITV is back for its fourth season. The new episodes continue the story of Roy and Cleo, with season 3 ending on a cliffhanger as Cleo announced her pregnancy.

In the latest installment, we saw Roy looking into a violent theft that unfortunately led to the death of a woman. With the help of his team, they were able to crack the case and apprehend the culprit. However, Roy's attention was divided as he dealt with his own personal issues.

After successfully solving the case, Roy was spotted having a conversation with Cleo. Suddenly, he mentioned that he didn't have a ring, but still popped the question, asking her to marry him on a whim.

She agreed, then hesitated, wondering if he truly wanted it or if it was just because she was expecting a baby.

He affirmed his desire to marry her, and they exchanged a kiss before their moment was interrupted by a knock on the door. Even though Roy suggested ignoring it, Cleo decided to answer it, only to be shocked by what she saw outside.

John Simm plays the role of DS Roy Grace and Zoe Tapper stars as Cleo Morrey in the TV series "Grace", produced by Tall Story Pictures for ITV and ITVX.

Over by the entrance, a cot with a doll was left burning, someone did it. They covered the fire with a blanket to extinguish it, then Roy hurried out to search the road for the culprit. No one was in sight.

Right now, it's hard to determine who was the one to leave the crib, but it definitely sends a scary message, especially since Cleo is pregnant. Is it possible that this is connected to the possible return of Sandy, Grace's wife who went missing years ago and he thought was dead? It looks like we'll have to be patient and see how this all unfolds.

Even though Grace has been picked up for another season, it's unfortunate to hear that Craig Parkinson will be leaving the show after this upcoming season. Parkinson will be saying goodbye to his role as Norman Potting.

Parkinson shared on Instagram before the new season of Grace comes out: "The upcoming season of Grace will start airing on ITV on September 1st, but it will also be my final one. It has been an incredible journey bringing this character to life and adapting him for a fresh and modern audience."

It was a big challenge to bring to life a character from Peter James's popular book series, but with some changes to the script by our talented team and encouragement from Peter himself, I am pleased that the audience connected with the character.
