Glastonbury 2025: Tips for getting tickets

In the summer of 2024, Dua Lipa was the main act at the Glastonbury Festival.
Tickets for the Glastonbury Festival will be available for purchase this week, and millions of fans are anticipated to compete for the opportunity to be part of the festival, scheduled for June 25-29, 2025.
Although the headliners have not been revealed yet, it is anticipated that interest will be greater than ever, as the festival will be taking a break in 2026.
Last year, every one of the 210,000 tickets was gone in only 58 minutes, with over 2.5 million people attempting to access the site and grab a spot.
"There simply aren't enough tickets to go around," organizer Emily Eavis shared on the BBC's Sidetracked podcast earlier this year. "It's one of the most challenging aspects of the job because there's nothing we can do to change it. Hosting two weekends is definitely not an option for us."
"However, she continued, "many times, those who are truly eager to attend manage to secure tickets by volunteering or participating in contests."
There's always a glimmer of hope... If you have the courage to navigate the challenges of the online ticketing system, here are some suggestions that could potentially enhance your odds.
Verify Your Registration Now
In an effort to combat ticket scalping, which has been quite effective, all individuals wishing to go to Glastonbury must register ahead of time.
The registration period ended on Monday, November 11. If you haven't registered by now, unfortunately, it's no longer possible to sign up.
Everyone is encouraged to review their information ahead of time to ensure that everything is current.
When the ticket sale starts, make sure you have the registration number and postcode for everyone you’re purchasing tickets for.
Choose Between Coach Or General Entry
Glastonbury offers two types of tickets: regular weekend tickets and coach weekend tickets.
Weekend tickets allow you to make your own way there by train or car. Just be cautious of Glastonbury's famous traffic jams and consider how tired you might feel on the journey back.
Bus tickets are better for the environment and, as some people believe, they may enhance your chances of having a good experience, especially if you're starting from a faraway location. Keep in mind, though, that the festival tickets are given out directly on the bus, so there's no way to game the system.
Tickets and coach packages will be available for purchase starting at 6:00 PM GMT on Thursday, November 14th.
General admission tickets will be available for purchase starting at 9:00 AM on Sunday, November 17.

Every year, over 200,000 individuals gather for the festival in Somerset.
Join Forces With Friends
At the booking phase, you’re allowed to buy a maximum of six tickets, provided you have the registration information for every person attending.
It makes sense that the more individuals attempting to purchase tickets, the higher the likelihood of successfully getting one. So, ensure that all six of you are online when the tickets become available (just a heads up: don't all try from the same location... there's a reason for this, as mentioned below).
Your group doesn't need to consist solely of those you're attending the festival with in person. It can include friends, coworkers, relatives, neighbors, or even Chris Martin from Coldplay. The key idea is that you're collaborating as a team.
Create a group chat to help organize your plans, and don’t forget to compile all of your registration numbers and postcodes in a shared document. This way, the person at the front of the line can be prepared when it's their turn.
Avoid Being Tricked By Scam Websites
The high demand for Glastonbury tickets naturally draws in scammers and con artists who take advantage of people's eagerness to trick them out of their cash.
Tickets are only available at glastonbury.seetickets.com, so steer clear of purchasing from other sources.
Log In Early For A Better Experience
This year, Glastonbury has rolled out a new system for managing queues, which necessitates that you sign in ahead of time.
This means that when the ticket sales begin, you'll be given a spot in the line at random.
Those who arrive later will be positioned at the end of the queue, so it's beneficial to be on time.
Let’s be honest, 9:00 AM on a Sunday isn’t the most social hour. Make sure to set an alarm—maybe even a few. You could ask a night owl friend to swing by and nudge you awake. Do whatever it takes!
If you're able to (and I’m sorry for suggesting this), you might consider going into the office. Even if your home internet connection is decent, the office computer could provide a more reliable connection.

Sam Fender is said to be one of the potential main acts for the 2025 festival.
Limit Yourself To One Device
Using several devices and different browser tabs can lead to mistakes and might even cause you to lose your spot in line, which is something you'd want to avoid.
According to the Glastonbury website, using just one device per household helps ensure a fairer experience for everyone.
We recognize that everyone wants the best opportunity to secure a ticket. However, trying to access the website on multiple devices at the same time is not only an inefficient use of resources but also goes against the spirit of the festival.
"To help make the ticket checkout process as smooth and easy as possible, please use just one device and one tab. This way, you can concentrate on entering your information without any browser confusion."
Understand The Booking Process Easily
Only a small group of people will be allowed to use the booking system at the same time. While you wait, you will be placed in a queue.
When you manage to get through, you'll need to provide the registration number and postcode of the main booker, as well as for up to five additional guests. To minimize mistakes, it's best to copy and paste this information instead of typing it out by hand.
As you move forward, the following page will display a summary of the information you've provided. Please review it closely, as you won't be able to make any changes later.
When you’re reserving a coach package, your next step is to select the time, date, and departure location. Keep in mind that you can only purchase tickets for one departure city at a time.
After everything is verified, you'll be prompted to provide your payment information.
"Prepare Your Payment Information Now"
This year, a ticket to Glastonbury is priced at £375.50, along with a £5 booking fee. However, when you check out, you'll only need to pay a £75 deposit initially, with the remaining amount due in the first week of April. Kids under 12 can attend for free and don't need to be registered.
Ensure that you have sufficient funds in your account (around £450 if you're purchasing for six individuals) and, importantly, have your card information readily available.
When the moment arrives, make sure to input the information precisely as displayed, as any errors could lead to your purchase being rejected. In some instances, this might cause your registration details to be locked for as long as 10 minutes.
Lastly, ensure that your phone is fully charged and that notifications are turned on, so you don’t miss any messages from your bank asking for verification.
"Remember To Check Your Email"
After you've completed your reservation, don't forget to look for a confirmation email, including in your spam folder.
If you haven't gotten an email after three hours, ticket holders should reach out to See Tickets through their customer service portal.

The entrances for the 2025 festival will be opened on Wednesday, June 25th.
Even if you aren't among the fortunate few, there's still a chance.
You can attend the festival as a volunteer, usually by working three shifts of eight hours each in exchange for a ticket.
In April, some tickets that were returned or not needed will be available for purchase. That's when you'll have to deal with the hassle of applying once more.
Join The Wild Speculation On The Line-up!
While it won't assist you in securing tickets, it's a crucial aspect of the yearly schedule.
Only Emily Eavis is aware of who will be headlining next year, but that doesn't stop the speculation. Everyone loves to guess and share their thoughts about the potential lineup.
Oasis, who are set to reunite for a tour next summer, have already stated that they will not be part of the festival. However, some strong contenders for the main acts this year include Sam Fender, known for his amazing performance at the Pyramid Stage two years ago, and Olivia Rodrigo, who is already set to headline the BST Festival in London during the Glastonbury weekend.
Eminem and Rihanna are always part of the ongoing speculation about whether they’ll collaborate again, while Billy Joel and Stevie Wonder are rumored to be considered for a legendary performance spot.
In past years, the announcements about the lineup have begun gradually in November, but the complete list is usually kept secret until March.
