Glastonbury 2025 tickets - sale time, price and how many you can buy

Glastonbury 2025

The countdown to Glastonbury 2025 has begun, and for many, the initial hurdle is figuring out and organizing how to purchase tickets.

Given the strong interest and limited tickets, it's crucial to be ready for the festival scheduled for June 25 to 29, 2025, at Worthy Farm in Somerset.

Here's a summary of when tickets will be available for purchase, their prices, and the regulations concerning the quantity you can buy.

When Will Glastonbury 2025 Tickets Be Available?

Tickets for the coach will be available for purchase at 6 PM this Thursday, while general admission tickets will be on sale starting Sunday, November 17, at 9 AM.

Coach tickets are tickets that cover round-trip travel to and from the Glastonbury Festival via coach.

Buses will leave from 28 different spots nationwide, ranging from Bristol in the south to Glasgow in the north.

What’s The Price Of Tickets?

For the 2025 festival, tickets are priced at £373.50, plus an additional £5 booking fee. If you're purchasing a coach ticket, you'll need to cover the cost of a round-trip or one-way coach fare, which can range from £47 to £160 based on your location.

A £75 deposit is required, and the rest of the payment is due in April.

This year, the cost of a ticket has gone up a bit to £355. In comparison, back in 1970, when the first Glastonbury Fair was held, tickets were incredibly cheap at just £1.

Rising gradually over the years to £49 by 1992, the festival saw an increase in the number of stages, earning its reputation as one of the finest festivals globally.

In 2003, ticket prices reached over £100 for the first time, featuring shows from R.E.M, Radiohead, Moby, and The Darkness.

With the ongoing rise in prices, last year, specialists from OLBG examined how general sale ticket costs have changed since 2013. They concluded that by 2030, attendees might end up spending over £500 for a ticket to the festival.

How Many Tickets Are You Allowed To Buy?

According to the festival's website, customers can reserve a maximum of six tickets in one transaction.

A total of 130,000 tickets will be available for regular attendees during the public sale, while an additional 5,000 tickets will be set aside for residents who live nearby within a designated area.

These tickets allow the holder to enter the venue only on the festival's final day.

Understanding The New Ticketing System

Glastonbury has announced that instead of having a static page that users need to refresh to access the See Tickets site, this year, they will be placed in a queue.

When sales begin, every user will be given a spot in the queue at random.

If you sign up for the site after sales have started, you'll be placed at the end of the queue. To avoid this, make sure to log in a few minutes early.

When you get to the front of the line, you can proceed normally. You'll have 10 minutes to enter the registration details for up to six individuals and complete the transaction.

Is Reselling Glastonbury Tickets Allowed?

No, Glastonbury Festival tickets are linked to the ticket holder's photo and cannot be passed on to someone else.

There is an official resale process in place. If a ticket holder fails to pay the outstanding balance on their ticket, their tickets will be returned to Glastonbury's system and made available for resale.

Resales usually happen a few months after the initial sale.
