Tickets for the Glastonbury Festival are available starting today, and millions of fans are anticipated to compete for the opportunity to be part of the event, scheduled for June 25-29, 2025.

This year's performers featured SZA, Charli XCX, Coldplay, and Dua Lipa, which led to the typical frenzy for tickets, resulting in the website crashing.

Event planners have introduced a new ticketing system for this year's event, as many fans eagerly anticipate the chance to secure tickets to watch their favorite performances at Worthy Farm.

There haven't been any major acts revealed for next year's festival yet, but last year's tickets were gone in just a few minutes, leaving many fans feeling let down.

This year, demand is projected to be greater than normal since the Festival will be taking a break in 2026.

We've gathered all the essential information you need to reserve your place below.

When will tickets for Glastonbury be available for purchase?

Starting today at 6 PM on November 14, ticket packages for the Glastonbury Festival that include coach travel will be available for purchase. Tickets without coach travel will be released for sale at 9 AM on November 17.

What’s the process for purchasing a ticket?

To obtain a ticket, you needed to register for the Glastonbury Festival. Unfortunately, the registration deadline has already passed earlier this week.

Tickets can be purchased at glastonbury.seetickets.com.

What is the price of the tickets?

The festival scheduled from Wednesday, June 25, to Sunday, June 29, 2025, has announced a price hike for tickets compared to last year. A full weekend general admission ticket will now be priced at £373.50, along with an additional £5 booking fee. For reference, general admission tickets for the 2024 festival were priced at £360.

This indicates that the price of a Glastonbury ticket has increased by over £100 (£108.50) in the past six years. Back in 2019, tickets were priced at £265 along with a £5 booking fee.

The update was officially announced on Tuesday, November 5, just before the sales scheduled for November 14 and 17.

How does the updated queue system operate?

"The booking procedure for 2025 will remain unchanged from previous years, but the method for entering the booking process will be different," stated the announcement on the Glastonbury website.

Instead of constantly refreshing the holding page to reach the booking page, this year, when ticket sales start (either at 6 PM or 9 AM), anyone already on the glastonbury.seetickets.com page will be randomly placed in a queue for the booking process.

The announcement mentioned that anyone who signs in after the sale begins will be placed at the end of the waiting list. Therefore, it's crucial to ensure that you're online and prepared a few minutes ahead of the sale's start time.

Five strategies to ensure you get your tickets.

• A reliable internet connection. You definitely don’t want your internet to cut out right when you’re completing a transaction.

• Timing is crucial. Make sure you’re on the ticket page of the Glastonbury See Tickets website exactly at 6 PM on November 14, or at 9 AM on November 17 for the general sale. Don't forget to set your alarms!

• Have your payment information ready. When you arrive at the payment page, you'll have five minutes to complete your transaction, so ensure you fill out all the required details correctly and have everything prepared. You can track the remaining time on the right side of your screen.

• The situation isn’t finalized until the SOLD OUT notice shows up on the Glastonbury website. So, there's no need to panic if you encounter a message stating that “all available tickets have now been assigned.” This just indicates that the orders are being handled, and there’s a chance that some individuals may not complete their purchases in time, which means the tickets could become available again.

• Stick to a single browser tab. According to the Glastonbury website, using several tabs to purchase tickets can lead to confusion during the ticketing process, which might cause your transaction to fail. Glastonbury recommends, "To prevent potential issues with your purchase, we highly suggest that you only use one browser tab for booking your tickets."
