Who is GK Barry? The TikTok star in the I'm A Celeb jungle and her famous girlfriend

GK Barry

Similar to last year's contestant Nella Rose, Barry rose to fame through social media.

Here's everything you should be aware of regarding the star, including her age and her well-known partner.

"Where Is GK Barry From And Her Age?"

GK Barry, whose real name is Grace Eleanor Keeling, was born in Cambridge on August 25, 1999, which means she is currently 25 years old.

However, she didn’t spend much time in the city. When she was just two years old, her family moved to the British Virgin Islands in the Caribbean.

When she turned eight, she returned to the UK and made her home in Nottingham, where she enrolled at Nottingham Trent University to pursue a film degree.

The Rise To Fame Of GK Barry Explained

Barry's presence on TikTok has turned her into a popular figure and influencer on the internet.

The 25-year-old first caught the public's eye in 2020 with her lifestyle videos on a popular app.

Initially, she preferred to keep her identity private, so she chose to use the name GK Barry, which comes from her initials combined with the surname of a friend.

In 2022, she started hosting the Saving Grace Podcast. Since that time, she has traveled across the country with the podcast.

Who Is GK Barry's Boyfriend?

Barry is in a relationship with Ella Rutherford, a forward for Ipswich Town.

Sources say that the couple connected on Instagram, but details about the duration of their relationship remain unclear, as they prefer to maintain a low profile and seldom share posts about each other on their social media.

Barry was in a relationship with fellow TikToker Billy Hunt, whom she got to know through former Gogglebox star Joe Baggs.

Has She Appeared On TV Before?

Barry is familiar with the television industry. Her initial appearance on screen was as a guest on Love Island’s Aftersun in 2023, although she had already gained experience working behind the scenes on several shows.

The influencer from Cambridge later took part as a contestant on The Weakest Link and has also been featured on Channel 4's Stand Up To Cancer.

In 2024, she had multiple television appearances, taking part in The Wheel and serving as a guest panelist on Loose Women.

What Did She Say About Joining I'm A Celeb?

Barry, who was a guest on Ant and Dec's Instagram Live show two years back, now expresses her excitement about getting the chance to meet them face-to-face.

"Absolutely, I'm a huge fan," Barry shares. "They (Ant & Dec) asked, 'Who is GK Barry?' and now look at me—I’m actually on the show! It’s come around completely."

"I'm really looking forward to seeing them in the Australian jungle. I'm also eager to connect with everyone involved in the program, since the cast is always fantastic."

The TikTok sensation, who admits to being afraid of just about everything, faces numerous fears while participating in I'm A Celebrity.

"I haven't had a good night's sleep in a month. I'm really anxious about the Trials and honestly, I feel uneasy about everything. The eating trial seems like the most brutal challenge for a person. Plus, there's no way to predict who I'll get along with, but I'm hopeful that by the end of the first week, I'll feel more at ease."

Barry expressed that she will miss her girlfriend and cat the most while she’s in the jungle.

"When you feel homesick and long for the familiar faces of your loved ones, it can be really tough when they're not around," she said.

"My girlfriend is really supportive and believes I'll succeed."

I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! is broadcast on weekdays and Sundays at 9 PM on ITV.
