Position: Social Media Influencer and Host
With almost 900,000 followers on Instagram and 3.6 million on TikTok, GK Barry, known as Grace Keeling, is a well-known British social media influencer and podcaster. She gained fame for her hit podcast, Saving Grace, where she chats with reality TV stars, influencers, and comedians.
Her popularity on social media has turned her into a significant personality among Gen Z in the UK, especially due to her down-to-earth, occasionally wild, anecdotes and candid nature.
In August 2024, Grace became the newest member of ITV’s Loose Women, marking the youngest age for anyone to join the panel in the show’s history.
When discussing her participation in Loose Women, GK Barry shared with PinkNews: "It's pretty amazing that I'm the youngest member. It feels like I've achieved something significant. I can voice my opinions, and everyone has to pay attention." She added, "I think our generation often gets ignored simply because we’re seen as ‘young’. During our meetings, this really kicks off fresh discussions. I enjoy offering a unique viewpoint on the show."
Phobias: "I'm scared of everything!"
What’s the biggest misunderstanding you’d like to clear up about yourself in the jungle? “Many people think I’m always intense and energetic, but in reality, I’m quite a laid-back individual.”
Positive and negative traits: "I have a talent for turning a negative event into something lighter. When you’re feeling down, I’m someone you can count on. On the downside, I tend to snore, and I can occasionally be a bit lazy. But I’m aware that I need to step up and tackle some tasks!"
Ideal camping companions: “If I could choose, it would be Paris Hilton or Joanna Lumley. Having them by my side while camping would be perfect.”
GK Barry's Take On Joining I'm A Celebrity 2024
GK Barry has been looking forward to this moment for quite a while. When discussing joining the cast, Barry shared with ITV, “Absolutely, I’m a huge fan! [Ant & Dec] asked, ‘What’s a GK Barry?’ and now here I am, actually on the show.”
"It has come back around. I'm really looking forward to meeting them in the Australian jungle. I'm also thrilled to connect with everyone involved in the program since the cast is usually fantastic."
However, the TikTok sensation understands that she will need to tackle several fears while participating in I'm a Celebrity.
During an interview with ITV, she shared her deep fears, saying she is scared of "everything." She disclosed, “I haven’t had a good night’s sleep in a month. The Trials frighten me, and honestly, I feel anxious about everything. The eating trial feels to me like the most cruel test you can put someone through.”
She acknowledged that she'll really miss her girlfriend and her cat the most. “When you're feeling homesick and just want to be around the people who make you feel comfortable, it's tough when they’re not around,” she said. “But my girlfriend is super supportive and believes I’m going to thrive.”
