GK Barry revealed the embarrassing mistake that Ant and Dec made involving her as she gets ready for her time on I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here!
The 25-year-old podcaster shared that the favorite hosting pair was curious about "what a GK Barry is" when the star appeared as a guest on their Instagram Live show two years back.
In their online series, Jungle Club, Ant, 48, and Dec, 49, invited their audience to recommend potential guests. The most popular suggestion among fans was GK Barry.
Even after her recent blunder that made everyone laugh, the English influencer couldn't contain her enthusiasm as she prepares to step into the well-known jungle.
The TikTok star confessed that she was a big fan of the show back then and now she can hardly believe that she will be joining the much-loved ITV program.
GK Barry, 25, revealed the embarrassing mistake that Ant and Dec made during an encounter with her as she gets ready for her appearance on I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here!
The podcaster shared that the beloved hosting pair (shown in the picture) questioned, "What is a GK Barry?" when the celebrity appeared as a guest on their Instagram Live show two years back.
“Absolutely, I’m a huge fan! They (Ant & Dec) once asked, ‘What is a GK Barry?’, and now here I am, actually appearing on the show. It feels like it has come full circle,” GK shared.
"I'm really looking forward to meeting them in the Australian jungle. I’m also eager to connect with everyone involved in the program since the cast is always incredible."
However, the influencer will face numerous daunting challenges in the Australian jungle, including confronting several of her fears.
"I haven't gotten a good night's sleep in a month. I'm really afraid of the Trials, and honestly, I'm frightened by just about everything," she admitted.
In my opinion, the eating trial is one of the most challenging experiences someone can face. You never really know who you'll connect with during the process, but I'm optimistic that by the end of the first week, I'll feel more comfortable and at home.
Reflecting on her childhood camping experience, the internet star shared: "I remember sleeping in a tent in the yard once, but after a few hours, I decided to go inside because it wasn't very enjoyable."
GK confessed that she will really miss her girlfriend and her cat the most when she goes into the jungle.
When you're feeling homesick and longing for the familiar comforts of your loved ones, it can be really tough when they aren't around.
"Absolutely, I'm a huge fan! When Ant and Dec asked, 'Who is GK Barry?', it’s amazing to think that now I’ve ended up on their show. It's like everything has come around full circle," GK shared (seen in a photo last month).
In a candid moment regarding her anxieties before the upcoming challenge, she shared, "I haven't been able to sleep for a month. The Trials worry me, and honestly, I'm feeling frightened about everything."
"My girlfriend is really enthusiastic about my journey and believes I will succeed."
"I got her a life-sized cardboard replica of myself so it doesn't feel too strange when I'm not around!"
GK mentioned that she plans to spend her time in the jungle focusing on her own mindfulness, even though she is a prominent figure in the world of social media.
I'm envisioning this as a getaway. I'm really looking forward to taking a break from social media, and I believe the limited food servings at the camp will be just fine as well.
In the open discussion, she frankly stated, "I'm not anticipating that I'll go in and come out on top."
Naturally, it would be amazing to win after following the show for so long, and it would be totally unbelievable if I actually did win.
Just a week before her appearance, the influencer faced backlash for cancelling several promotional videos related to her recent interview with a controversial figure.
GK is famous for featuring some of the UK's most recognizable personalities on her Saving Grace show, including Alan Carr, Olivia Bowen, Rylan, Rob Rinder, and Coleen Nolan.
The celebrity (L) faced backlash for canceling certain promotional videos from a recent interview featuring the controversial guest Bonnie Blue (R). Bonnie gained attention for her bold attempt to sleep with 100 men in a single day.
The star, whose real name is Grace Keeling, was recently accompanied by the provocative media figure Bonnie Blue, who gained attention for attempting a feat of sleeping with 100 men in a single day.
The selection of the guest and the topic faced significant criticism and led to a lot of negative reactions. Recently, observant fans pointed out that GK has deleted the promotional videos for the episode from both Instagram and TikTok.
Even though the presenter, a newcomer on the Loose Women panel, didn't take down the entire episode from her YouTube channel.
