Dominique Pelicot has been convicted and received a 20-year prison sentence for drugging his former wife, Gisèle, and raping her. He also subjected her to repeated abuse over almost ten years by encouraging numerous men to participate. Additional charges were included in his verdict as well.

Pelicot acknowledged the accusations made against him.

The 72-year-old was being tried alongside 50 other individuals, most of whom pleaded not guilty to the accusations of sexual assault.

The majority of the 50 are from towns and villages located within a 50-kilometer (30-mile) range of the Pelicots' village, Mazan.

Included in this group are firefighters, truck drivers, military personnel, security officers, a reporter, and a disc jockey.

Dominique Pelicot has been convicted of severe crimes, including the aggravated rape of his former wife, Gisèle. He was also found guilty of attempting to commit aggravated rape against Cillia, the wife of one of his co-defendants, Jean Pierre Marechal. Additionally, he was charged with taking inappropriate photographs of his daughter, Caroline, and his daughters-in-law, Aurore and Celine. As a result, he has received a 20-year prison sentence.

Jean-Pierre Marechal was found guilty of trying to rape his wife and committing aggravated rape against her, in addition to drugging her. He was sentenced to 12 years in prison.

Charly Arbo has been found guilty of severe sexual assault and has received a sentence of 13 years in prison.

Florian Rocca: Convicted of severe sexual assault.

Cyrille Delville has been found guilty of serious rape and has received an eight-year prison sentence.

Christian Lescole has been found guilty of aggravated rape but was cleared of charges related to child abuse imagery. He has received a nine-year prison sentence.

Lionel Rodriguez has been found guilty of serious sexual assault and has received an eight-year prison sentence.

Nicolas Francois has been found guilty of serious charges involving aggravated rape and possession of child exploitation materials. He has received an eight-year prison sentence and is prohibited from any employment involving children for an extended period.

Jacques Cubeau has been found guilty of serious sexual assault and has received a five-year prison sentence.

Patrice Nicolle has been found guilty of serious sexual assault and has received an eight-year prison sentence.

Thierry Parisis has been found guilty of serious sexual assault and has received an eight-year prison sentence.

Simoné Mekenese has been found guilty of serious rape and has received a nine-year prison sentence.

Nizar Hamida has been convicted of serious sexual assault and has received a 10-year prison sentence.

Boris Moulin has been found guilty of serious rape offenses and has been sentenced to eight years in prison.

Karim Sebaoui has been found guilty of serious charges, including aggravated rape and possessing images of child exploitation. He has received a sentence of 10 years in prison.

Redouane Azougagh: Convicted of severe sexual assault.

Joan Kawai has been found guilty of aggravated rape and will serve a 10-year prison sentence.

Ludovick Blemeur: Convicted of serious sexual assault.

Patrick Aron has been found guilty of aggravated rape and received a six-year sentence. However, he was released today because of his medical conditions, and the judge has stated that he will require placement in a specialized facility.

Abdelali Dallal has been found guilty of serious sexual assault. Although he was given an eight-year prison sentence, he is now being released due to health concerns. The judge has stated that he will have to be placed in a specialized facility instead of a standard prison.

Grégory Serviol has been found guilty of serious sexual assault and sentenced to eight years in prison.
