Blake Lively and Gigi Hadid stole the show on the red carpet at the New York City premiere of the Marvel film, rocking outfits inspired by Deadpool and Wolverine.

The famous actress, 36, and the popular fashion model, 29, went to the debut of Ryan Reynolds and Hugh Jackman's new action movie at the David H Koch Theater on Monday, July 22. The two were a stylish pair at the event, with Lively wearing a red off-the-shoulder Versace catsuit that resembled her husband's Deadpool character.

The bodysuit made of material similar to latex had delicate black lace decorations and gloves sewn in. She matched the outfit with red pumps. Lively added a touch of glamor with her bedazzled black Judith Leiber clutch, which looked like a ball and chain. She also wore long Lorraine Schwartz earrings and put her hair up in a sleek ponytail.

In the meantime, Hadid honored Wolverine's famous yellow outfit by dressing in a yellow strapless bandana top and pleated skirt from Miu Miu, paired with a brown leather belt. She completed her outfit with stacked bangles from Alexis Bittar, a layered gold necklace, black slingback heels, and a yellow Miu Miu bag. Hadid's hairstyle was a standout feature, with her blonde bob styled with dramatic curled bangs.

The friends who have known each other for a long time, strolled down the red carpet hand in hand. They then smiled for the cameras next to Reynolds and Jackman.

"This is what true friendship looks like," a fan commented on X (previously known as Twitter) in response to Lively and Hadid's matching premiere ensembles.

"Top fashion pair," someone else commented.

"They're amazing," remarked another individual, with another person adding, "They exude an energy similar to 'prepare for trouble and make it double.'"

Lively has been showing her support for her husband's latest movie by posting a picture on Instagram from the Deadpool and Wolverine set. In the photo, she can be seen kissing Reynolds while he is in his Deadpool makeup. In the caption, she humorously mentions how her modern sense of humor has impacted her husband's new film.

"Let me know if Deadpool is in a relationship with a younger woman in real life without actually saying it," Lively mentioned in a video shared on Instagram over the weekend. The video featured scenes from the movie where Reynolds' character dropped hints about the 2000s, mentioning Avril Lavigne, Harry Potter, and N*SYNC.

"It's difficult to resist urging my female friends to notice all the ways we have made an impact on @deadpoolmovie. I have never been prouder. And I have given birth four times," Lively stated in the caption.

In the comments below the post, a person on Instagram told Lively to share more photos of herself and Reynolds to dispel rumors of their impending divorce. Lively responded by denying the rumors with a hint of humor, saying "Haha, they wish," along with a laughing-crying emoji.

The pair, who tied the knot in 2012, have four kids. At the premiere in New York City, Reynolds publicly disclosed the name of their newest addition, born in February 2023.

"First off, I'd like to give a big thank you to my wife, Blake, who is here and looking absolutely stunning, just a heads up," Reynolds announced while speaking on stage. "I also want to express my gratitude to my children – James, Inez, Betty, Olin – who are present. I genuinely hope that, if fate is on my side, this will be the most shocking experience you have to endure in your incredible journey through life."

He said: "I'm happy that my whole family is here."

Apart from Olin, whose gender is unknown, Reynolds and Lively also have three daughters together: James, who is nine years old, Inez, who is seven years old, and Betty, who is four years old.
