Germany 5-0 Hungary LIVE - UEFA Nations League result as Jamal Musiala, Florian Wirtz on target for Germany

Germany defeated Hungary by a score of five goals in their recent match.

Jamal Musiala scored an amazing goal all by himself as Germany defeated Hungary 5-0 in their first game of the UEFA Nations League in Dusseldorf.

Niclas Fullkrug, Florian Wirtz, Aleksandar Pavlovic, and Kai Havertz all scored on a dominating evening for Julien Nagelsmann's team.

Germany applied pressure on Hungary right from the beginning of the game. Despite Liverpool's Dominik Szoboszlai making a goal-line clearance and Fullkrug missing a one-on-one chance, the West Ham striker managed to score and give the hosts the lead with a simple tap-in near the goal.

Havertz had two opportunities to increase Germany's advantage before half-time. The first chance was when his powerful shot hit the crossbar and unfortunately did not cross the goal-line. Then, he missed another attempt just before half-time by sending a curved shot wide of the post.

Germany scored their second goal one hour into the match when Wirtz passed to Musiala on the midfield line. The Bayern Munich player then carried the ball from his own half, evading two defenders before skillfully putting the ball into the net.

The hosts started to dominate at this point, and soon after they scored their third goal. Musiala passed the ball to Wirtz, who managed to get it past Peter Gulacsi.

Pavlovic scored a fourth goal, and Havertz also scored from a penalty to secure the three points for the team.
