Germany Introduces New Migration Measures that Will Allow Romania’s Full Accession to Schengen

Germany

Germany is thinking about sending migrants back to Afghanistan and Syria. If this happens, Romania may be able to join the Schengen Zone for land borders.

The Minister of the Interior of Germany, Nancy Faeser, has revealed a new strategy, and she is currently in discussions with different states about the matter, according to Schengen.News.

Furthermore, Austria has also introduced a similar strategy to Germany in an effort to strengthen regulations and decrease unauthorized immigration.

We are in discussions confidentially with different states to find ways to resume the process of deporting individuals to Afghanistan. It is important that violent criminals are deported promptly if released from prison in Germany. We also aim to remove and control Islamist threats consistently. I urge the federal police to assist the states in charge of these actions promptly.

The Minister mentioned that the country has already detailed the interior ministry's actions in the latest report on safeguarding the constitution.

Faeser mentioned that in regards to Afghanistan, there have been discussions with the government officials in Uzbekistan and Syria.

A new study from Deutsche Welle has found that more and more German people are in favor of sending back asylum-seekers who have been denied entry, as the country takes a harder stance on immigration. Surprisingly, even some refugees are starting to agree with this idea.

Improved Methods For Managing Irregular Migrants

Earlier this week, German law enforcement sent back an Afghan family who had left Poland in an unauthorized manner. Polish officials viewed this action as breaking the law.

In a statement, Poland's border service said that German authorities should not make such a decision without reason.

On this matter, Prime Minister Donald Tusk stated that he would be addressing the incident that was deemed unacceptable with German Chancellor Olaf Scholz.

Germany is implementing policies to decrease its appeal to migrants, as it continues to be a top destination for asylum seekers in the European Union.

On June 19, the leader of Germany, Olaf Scholz, promised to improve the handling of irregular migrants trying to enter the country.

Scholz mentioned that the country is looking to create partnerships to improve the management of the repatriation of individuals who are not permitted to remain there. He identified this as the most significant obstacle.

In order to avoid facing challenges by ourselves, we need to seek out allies around the globe to assist us in reaching our objectives.

Furthermore, the Chancellor also supported the current strategies implemented in Germany to manage irregular migration.
