GB News permanently banned in Senedd in major 'censorship'
GB News has been officially prohibited from broadcasting in the Welsh Senedd, in what some are calling a significant act of "censorship".

Last year in October, the National Assembly of Wales decided to take this broadcaster off its internal TV network.
Welsh Conservative leader Andrew RT Davies was quick to criticize the choice to implement a permanent ban.
He claimed that it was censorship coming from a so-called democratic organization.
The era of unrestricted speech in Wales comes to an end: GB News is permanently forbidden in Senedd under significant 'censorship'.
"It is completely erroneous. The Senedd's reputation was greatly harmed by the Vaughan Gething scandal, and this will not help to regain the trust of the public."
This decision needs to be changed so that elected officials can choose which news channels they want to watch on the Senedd televisions, including Britain's news channel.
GB News has displayed a message on the Welsh Parliament building.
Jones' representative further stated that the commission would "address the matter in an upcoming meeting".
Currently, the employees and individuals of the Senedd are only able to view this broadcaster through the internet.
The choice brings up more worries about safeguarding freedom of expression in the United Kingdom.
Rishi Sunak showed his unhappiness with Welsh Labour for their decision to ban GB News in Cardiff Bay during the 2024 General Election campaign.
In a recent interview with GB News political editor Christopher Hope at a pub in Nottingham, Sunak expressed his thoughts on the matter by stating: "The Labour-controlled Welsh Parliament has made the decision to prohibit GB News. This decision speaks volumes about their stance on GB News and its audience."

I participated in GB News' People's Forum to speak directly to their audience because I have admiration for them and I want to ensure they understand that I am acknowledging their worries.
GB News reacted to the first ban by displaying its logo on the Welsh Senedd building and saying "Nigel recommends watching GB News."

The announcement came shortly after a viewer of GB News was surprised when his gym decided to prohibit the channel.
John Bailey, 74, said he was not allowed to watch GB News at his Nuffield Health gym, which he believed was a violation of his right to choose what he watches.
Nuffield Health said they were sure that they followed the correct procedure, but they are now investigating if the situation was handled with care.
