Instead, we’re focusing on the meaningful content—like all the trailers and disclosures from The Game Awards showcasing the exciting big titles set to launch in 2025 and later. So, relax and take in every announcement from The Game Awards in the order they were presented during the event. We have everything from The Witcher 4 to Naughty Dog's upcoming project, plus plenty more for you to enjoy right here.

Ninja Gaiden Is Back From Blasphemous Creators

What a way to start the pre-show for The Game Awards! Ninja Gaiden is returning with a new title, Ninja Gaiden Ragebound. This game is being developed by The Game Kitchen, known for the challenging Souls-like metroidvania, Blasphemous, along with Dotemu, the publishers responsible for Streets of Rage 4. Ragebound promises to deliver a fast-paced, action-packed experience in the same stunning 2D pixel art style as Blasphemous, and it’s likely to put our skills to the test when it launches in the summer of 2025.

"One Move Away: A Must For Unpacking Fans"

At some point, we’ve all experienced it. It’s time for car boot Tetris with One Move Away, set to launch in 2025 for PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X/S. If you can imagine Unpacking, but instead focusing on cars, you’re on the right track. In this game, we’ll be loading the same vehicle at various crucial times in our character's life, and it promises to be a truly charming experience.

Slay The Spire 2 Unveils New Gameplay Trailer

Slay the Spire 2 is familiar territory for fans, but the newest trailer offers an excellent preview of the sequel to the beloved deckbuilding roguelike that many can’t get enough of. We get glimpses of four different character classes, along with some exciting battles. Plus, good news: it's still set to hit early access in 2025!

Dave The Diver: Jungle Adventure Teased

Just a quick hint about what's coming next: our beloved diver Dave appears to be off to the jungle for his next escapade. As of now, it's still uncertain if this will be an expansion or a true sequel (most likely the former), but whatever it turns out to be, it’s set to arrive in late 2025.

"Thick As Thieves: New Stealth Multiplayer Game"

Warren Spector's company, Otherside Entertainment, has announced its debut game: Thick as Thieves. This multiplayer game combines stealthy heists with intense action, challenging players to outsmart rival thieves while they swipe valuable treasures from luxurious mansions. The game is set to be released in 2026 and will be available on PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X/S.

Shadow Labyrinth: A Twist On Pac-Man's Secret Level

Based on the recently launched Pac-Man episode of Amazon's Secret Level anthology series, this fresh interpretation of Pac-Man promises to be an interesting dark fantasy metroidvania. In this game, the character known as Pac—or Puck, as referred to in the show—leads a handmade creature through a maze-like environment. While the episode shows Puck guiding the creature in its escape, it seems that players will have more influence over Puck's formidable jaw abilities in this version. I must admit, I'm quite curious about this one.

"Steel Paws: Yu Suzuki's New Mobile Game"

Set to debut on Netflix Games in 2025, Steel Paws is the newest project from Yu Suzuki. This game marks a significant shift from his previous works such as Shenmue and the more recent Air Twister. Featuring an adventure with anime elements, it follows a heroine reminiscent of Mega Man alongside her robot companion as they navigate a structure similar to the Tower of Babel. Further details haven't been released yet.

Kyora: Stunning Pixel Sandbox By Core Keeper Dev

From the makers of Core Keeper, we have a new pixelated colony sandbox game called Kyora. It looks charming in the brief 30 seconds we've seen, but according to its Steam page, it will feature a procedurally generated world and support online co-op for up to eight players.

"Sloclap's Rematch: A New Football Game"

I don't know about you, but I definitely didn't see a soccer game coming from Sloclap, the studio behind Sifu. I can almost hear Taps getting excited! Rematch is an online multiplayer title designed for 5v5 matchups, with plans for additional game modes and seasonal content to be introduced after it launches. The game is scheduled to release next year on Xbox Series X/S, PlayStation 5, and PC.

Solasta: Crown of the Magister is a massive role-playing game, and it has been officially announced that its sequel will enter early access in 2025, with a demo arriving shortly, as shared in the latest Game Awards trailer. This next installment takes place several decades after the original story, transporting players to the enchanting realm of Neokos. Here, gamers will use the D20 system to roll dice and lead their team through a variety of exciting quests. Plus, they’ve recruited Amelia Tyler, the narrator from Baldur's Gate 3, for this new adventure.

Big Reveal: The Witcher 4 Unveiled!

If the bathtub didn’t hint at it already, the white braid definitely did. The reveal of The Witcher 4 is visually stunning, even though it's just a cinematic teaser. Grown-up Ciri clearly knows how to wield that sword and her magical fire chain, doesn't she? A big thank you to CD Projekt Red for this! Tech enthusiasts have likely noticed that the trailer was made using a yet-to-be-announced Nvidia RTX GPU. Might this be the moment to upgrade your setup? Probably. Fortunately, there isn't a release date just yet, so we should have plenty of time to save up.

Elden Ring Nightreign: Co-Op In The Lands Between

Even though FromSoftware recently stated that there was no ongoing development for Elden Ring 2, it appears that they are indeed working on additional content related to Elden Ring. This new project will feature multiplayer elements. However, it's important not to refer to it as a sequel. Geoff Keighley introduced it as a standalone title before the trailer was released, later characterizing it as a cooperative action survival game. This new addition is called Elden Ring: Nightreign and is set to be released in 2025.

Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth Is Coming To PC Soon!

Forget about waiting for a PS5 Pro to enjoy FF7 Rebirth with upgraded graphics; it's set to launch on PC on January 23rd, 2025. That’s just around the corner—only a few weeks away! What a fantastic surprise! The trailer highlights better lighting, upgraded textures, improved models, along with features like DLSS and VRR, and I'm certain Digital Foundry will share their detailed analysis of these enhancements shortly.

Catly: A Unique Photorealistic Cat Game

Step aside, Stray! This visually stunning fantasy cat journey is ready to take the spotlight. What surprises me the most is that it's set to launch on PC, Apple Watches, and Nintendo Switch—all platforms you wouldn't typically expect for a game like this. I have a feeling that only one of them will truly showcase its detailed graphics. While we don't have a release date at the moment, more details are expected to be released next year.

"Project Robot: The New Game By Fumito Ueda"

Wow, it’s been quite some time, hasn’t it, Fumito Ueda? We’re getting our first look at the upcoming game from Gen Design, the creators of Ico, Shadow of the Colossus, and The Last Guardian. This sneak peek is brief but intriguing, showing a young boy climbing a massive robot and then entering… its head(?) while we witness the body being engulfed by a menacing shockwave. The game doesn’t have a title yet, but those of you paying attention might have noticed 'Project Robot' listed in the credits. My interest is definitely sparked!

New Trailer For The Outer Worlds 2: 2025 Release

Does it feel like Obsidian is subtly acknowledging the flaws of the first Outer Worlds? In their latest trailer, they hint at "increased action, more weapons, and improved graphics" with a knowing smirk. However, it seems to be coming together quite well if you ask me, and we now have a release year. It's set to launch in 2025 for Xbox Series X/S, Game Pass, PC, and interestingly, PS5. There's no information right now on whether the PS5 version will face delays similar to Indiana Jones, but we'll keep you updated on any news.

Split Fiction: New Game From It Takes Two Studio

The creators of It Takes Two are back with another cooperative action-adventure game. In this new title, you will guide two authors who find themselves ensnared in a simulation inspired by their fantasy and sci-fi stories. Similar to It Takes Two, each character has unique tools and abilities that develop as the game progresses, working together to tackle challenges—think dragons with varying powers or special exo-suits allowing you to roll into tight spaces. The game is set to release in March 2025, so stay tuned!

"Steel Hunters: Apex Legends Meets Mechs"

The newest title from War Gaming, the creators of World of Tanks, is Steel Hunters—a massive mech extravaganza filled with robots and explosive action. Imagine Apex Legends, but instead of characters, everyone is piloting a giant mech suit—that’s the essence of Steel Hunters. You’ll choose from one of seven different units and team up in pairs as you navigate vibrant green landscapes, likely turning them into a muddy mess by the end of the match. If you're interested in experiencing this free-to-play shooter, a ten-day beta will kick off on PC later today.

The Long Dark 2: Blackfrost Revealed

The follow-up to The Long Dark is set to enter early access in 2026! From the reveal trailer, it appears to maintain the same cold survival themes as the original game. However, I’m confident there will be plenty of new elements to explore as more information becomes available leading up to the launch.

Borderlands 4 Unveils First Gameplay Trailer

Following a quick teaser, we finally have our first real glimpse of Borderlands 4. From what I can see, it definitely retains the classic Borderlands vibe, along with a fresh, unsettling threat. We get to check out all four main characters in action, alongside tons of vibrant loot. It looks like a blast! The release is set for 2025.

Final Fantasy 16 Vs. Tekken 8: Battle Begins

Clive will be joining Tekken 8 on December 16th—did you hear? For a second, I assumed that Square Enix had revealed a sequel to Final Fantasy 16, but it turns out it’s just a crossover. Nevertheless, I appreciate how Phoenix is battling it out with Kazuma's massive dragon in the background. It’s great to see that level of detail!

Virtua Fighter Makes A Comeback From Like A Dragon Creators

Just when you thought RGG had enough on its plate with the Like A Dragon series, they surprise us with a comeback of Virtua Fighter! Amazing! Stay tuned for more information in an upcoming special broadcast.

Project Century Developed By RGG Studio, Creators Of Like A Dragon

Wow, RGG, you really raised the bar by revealing two games simultaneously! It’s still uncertain if Project Century is connected to Like A Dragon, but it certainly seems to explore a similar theme. Set in Japan in 1915, there’s no shortage of brawling action. I'm definitely on board for this, guys!

Turok Origins Revealed From The Shadows

Saber has brought back Turok, now packed with plenty of dinosaurs. I remember my last experience with Turok on the N64, where the frame rate was painfully slow and you could barely see far ahead, often leading to being eaten by dinosaurs within moments of starting the game. Fortunately, Turok Origins seems to avoid those problems entirely, boasting smooth frame rates and impressive weapons to take on those clever dinos. Count me in!

Warframe 1999: Final Trailer And Release Date!

The Warframe prototype we once imagined has finally evolved into a complete game after all these years. With its snowy landscapes, imaginative enemies to battle, and an enormous feline companion (or adversary?), Warframe has - in some way - never appeared more stunning. Plus, you won’t have to wait much longer to experience it, as it’s set to release tomorrow, December 14th.

Palworld Receives Another Exciting Update

A hefty, strong man teams up with a large, powerful bear-lion hybrid? Sounds familiar, doesn't it? Regardless of its ongoing legal issues with The Pokemon Company, Palworld is set to release a new update called Feybreak on December 23rd. For those still engaged with the game, this could be an amusing yet somewhat laborious Christmas gift.

Onimusha: Way Of The Sword Arrives In 2026

Absolutely, Capcom is back at it! Onimusha is making a return. Unfortunately, we only got a short cinematic trailer this time, but wow, the swordplay looks incredible! Those monsters are amazing! I can’t wait for 2026 to arrive.

Khazan: The First Berserker Arrives In March 2025

Here's another trailer for the dark fantasy RPG, The First Berserker: Khazan, showcased at the Game Awards. Like previous trailers, it doesn't reveal any gameplay footage, but it does come with a release date. If you're eagerly awaiting the unveiling of Onimusha, this game might be a great way to pass the time, as it's set to be released on March 27, 2025.

Dying Light: The Beast Release Window Revealed

Initially introduced at Gamescom last August, you might recall that Dying Light: The Beast is an independent installment in the Dying Light series. In this game, you step into the shoes of the furious Kyle Crane, who possesses beastly powers. We now have a tentative release window, so be sure to save the date for summer 2025!

"Stage Fright: A New Game From Overcooked Creators"

What’s this, Josef Fares? Is Stage Fright overshadowing Split Fiction? From the creator of Overcooked, this upcoming cooperative adventure seems incredibly fun, complete with charming British voiceovers. We only got a brief glimpse of the split-screen gameplay we can expect, but I’m definitely excited for it!

Game Of Thrones: Kingsroad Features Top Actors

So, here's the scoop: Netmarble is working on a new Game of Thrones game that includes all your favorite actors from HBO’s series, such as Kit Harington, who plays Jon Snow. However, there’s a catch—one character from the show seems to be missing, as it appears you're going to be playing a pretty standard Northman character who could easily be any tough, burly fantasy warrior. Despite that, it’s an interesting option for fans of Game of Thrones. The game is set to be released in 2025.

The Last Of Us Part 2 Remastered Arrives On PC

What’s next for the PS5 Pro? Well, mark your calendars because another classic PS5 title is making its way to PC. The Last of Us Part II Remastered is set to release on April 3, 2025.

Sonic Team Racing Crossworlds Arrives Soon!

A little sneak peek: Sonic Team Racing is returning, and this time, Shadow the Hedgehog is joining the cast of characters! Will it finally shed light on why these speedy hedgehogs rely on four wheels to travel… at a slower pace? We’ll just have to wait and see.

Mafia: The Old Country Arrives Summer 2025

The new trailer for Mafia: The Old Country is packed with tension, and things are bound to get even more intense as the release date approaches, set for the summer of 2025. Wow, next summer is shaping up to be quite busy, don’t you think?

Dispatch: A New Superhero Game From Ex-Telltale Devs

Starring Aaron Paul and Laura Bailey, Dispatch is an animated superhero game that involves sending heroes out to combat crime throughout the city. Interestingly, the trailer mentions that it’s from the creators of The Wolf Among Us and Tales From The Borderlands. However, don’t get too excited just yet—this project comes from a different studio called Adhoc. While there’s no release date announced yet, I'm definitely curious to see where this goes.

Capcom And Kamiya Team Up For Okami Sequel

Absolutely, Capcom and Kamiya, you legends! I honestly don’t care that this was the simplest announcement of the entire event; it’s been far too long. Plus, it seems Clover is making a comeback, now called Clovers. Get it? I reckon we still have a few years to wait, but let’s watch that trailer a hundred times, shall we?

Naughty Dog's New Sci-Fi Hack 'n' Slash Revealed

There you have it, fans of Naughty Dog. The upcoming game directed by Neil Druckmann is a departure from past titles, introducing a space bounty hunter equipped with an awesome laser sword to battle giant creatures. It looks impressive, at least for a cinematic trailer. And you can’t go wrong with a soundtrack by The Pet Shop Boys. Let's check it out again!
