Dybala’s agent flies to Turkey to meet with Galatasaray
Dybala's representative travels to Turkey to discuss matters with Galatasaray.
Recent developments in Turkey are making waves in Italian news: Galatasaray has set its sights on Paulo Dybala.
Galatasaray has been interested in Lorenzo Pellegrini for a while now. However, the latest updates from Istanbul, along with some pictures, reveal that the Turkish team is making significant efforts to secure a deal for Paulo Dybala instead.
According to Corriere dello Sport, the agent of the Argentine player, Carlos Novel, recently traveled to Turkey for discussions with the Galatasaray executives. After the meeting, he observed the match from the VIP section, where Galatasaray triumphed 4-3 over Trabzonspor.
The Turkish media also shared the photos and confidently stated, "Paulo is contemplating it." The Italian newspaper agrees that this is indeed true.
To begin with, it's important to mention that Dybala is likely on the verge of an automatic contract extension with Roma. He has only a few more matches to play, around 45 minutes each (the precise number is uncertain because it depends on how many cup games are played), after which his contract will be extended until 2026. This new deal will be quite lucrative, totaling nearly 8 million per season, including bonuses.
Roma never reached out to him or his team to discuss dispersing the salary, and that's a clear truth. Additionally, it's true that Novel traveled to Istanbul to hear Galatasaray's proposal. There's a strong sense that if the Giallorossi were to let him go without asking for much in return, Paulo might seriously think about accepting the offer.
