On the last day of the year, Arsenal will visit Fulham with the aim of taking the top position in the Premier League standings once again.
Mikel Arteta's team had been in the lead, but after drawing with Liverpool and losing 2-0 to West Ham on December 28th, they have fallen to fourth place.
If Arsenal loses to Fulham, it would mean three consecutive losses in the league, which is the longest losing streak this season. However, Arsenal has a better record in the past against Fulham. In fact, Fulham hasn't won any of the last 11 matches against Arsenal. They have only managed to draw three times and lost eight times.
Even though Marco Silva's team had an impressive season previously, they haven't been as successful this year. This can be mostly attributed to the departure of Aleksandar Mitrovic during the summer. Additionally, they have failed to score in their past three matches in the highest league.

During the 93rd minute, Harrison Reed was substituted into the game for Fulham, taking the place of Tom Cairney who had performed excellently.
In the 91st minute of the game, Leno managed to stop a weak attempt from Saka. This pretty much mirrored the overall lackluster performance by Arsenal since scoring the goal. Oh no! Arsenal from 86' might be facing some problems! Saliba just tackled Wilson as he was about to run past the defence line, resulting in a yellow card. However, Marco Silva thinks it should've been a red!
