Donald Trump is extremely angry with Fox News for broadcasting a segment featuring Oprah Winfrey at a rally for Kamala Harris, in which she cautioned that the former president could potentially undermine democratic elections in the United States.
As he placed his vote on Tuesday, the Republican expressed that Winfrey should feel "ashamed" for her remarks.
He expressed to the media, "I find this absurd. I appeared on one of Oprah's final episodes, where they selected the most prominent individuals and created quite a spectacle. Honestly, I'm quite let down. I believe Oprah has turned into a significant source of division in our country, and I think she ought to feel embarrassed about it."
On Monday, Winfrey addressed the crowd at Harris's rally in Philadelphia, urging voters to overcome any feelings of indifference they may have and make sure to cast their ballots.
"Hey everyone, I understand that many of you might be feeling exhausted, down, or even insignificant," she stated. "But trust me, that's not the reality at all. Every single vote really counts, which is why I made my way to Philadelphia tonight."
She emphasized how crucial it is to vote by cautions that Trump could potentially abolish democratic elections in the United States if he assumes the presidency.
"Opting out this time isn’t an option for us. If we don’t participate tomorrow, we might lose our chance to vote for good," she stated.
Trump was obviously angry that Winfrey spoke out against him, but he was just as upset with Fox News for airing the clip instead of downplaying it with supportive commentary about him.
“Who else should feel embarrassed? Fox,” he went on in his tirade. “I've watched Oprah on Fox nearly 50 times repeating the same message, and I find it shameful what they’re doing. People believe that Fox is fully supportive of Trump, but that’s not the case at all. They’ve had Oprah on air all morning long.”
She has visited Mar-a-Lago on several occasions. Roger King, who was the head of King World and Oprah's mentor, had his funeral there. She remarked that Mar-a-Lago is the most stunning location and wondered if it would be feasible to hold Roger’s funeral in the ballroom. We made it happen.
The Republican maintained that he used to have a strong connection with Winfrey and alleged that she encouraged him to pursue a political career during a phone conversation they had back in 2000. He even suggested that Winfrey was interested in being his partner on a political ticket.
