A yellow weather warning issued by the Met Office started at 4:00 AM BST on Friday and is anticipated to remain in effect until 9:00 AM.

It mentioned that parts of the fog could be "very thick," which may result in longer travel times and potential delays for buses, trains, and flights.

At times, visibility may drop to under 100 meters, but the fog will slowly begin to dissipate and clear up as the morning progresses.
