Eurostar has declared a sudden sale for cost-effective summer trips to different cities around Europe. However, individuals who wish to take advantage of this sale must hurry.

The railway has introduced tickets starting from only £35 for one-way trips on numerous seats that are available for travel to and from Paris, Lille, Brussels, and London.

From today, Tuesday 21 May, until 11pm on Thursday 23 May, return journeys are available for the low price of only £70.

The deal is available for many Eurostar trains from 4 June to 18 July, which means people planning a trip to Paris before the start of the Olympics on 26 July have a great opportunity.

During the Olympics, approximately 33% of the hotel rooms in the city will not be occupied. This means that British visitors have the opportunity to take advantage of lower hotel prices this summer.

According to Corinne Menegaux, the head of tourism, the anticipated percentage of occupancy is somewhere within 60-70%.

You can get standard class tickets for only £35 when you are travelling from London St Pancras International to destinations such as Paris Gare du Nord, Brussels-Midi/Zuid, and Lille Europe.

Regular tickets can be refunded if cancelled seven days prior to departure. Additionally, these tickets give you the option to bring along two bags with a measurement of 85cm each and one piece of hand luggage. There are no restrictions on the weight or amount of liquid that can be carried in the hand luggage.
