Europa League table: Lazio still leaders, Roma revitalised
Europa League Standings: Lazio Maintains Top Spot, Roma Shows Resurgence
Lazio has secured a spot in the Europa League play-offs since they lead the standings, while Roma has improved their chances of breaking into the top 24.
The Biancocelesti delivered an impressive display in Amsterdam, overpowering Ajax with a 3-1 victory. The goals came from Loum Tchaouna, Fisayo Dele-Bashiru, and the experienced Pedro.
This brings their total to 16 points from six matches in the Europa League, tying them with Athletic Club for the top spot, but they have the advantage due to a better goal difference of +11.
This secures their position among the top 24 teams, ensuring they at least qualify for the playoffs. However, finishing in the top eight grants teams automatic entry into the Round of 16.

Roma secured a 3-0 victory against SC Braga, who played with just ten men, at the Stadio Olimpico. This win helped them climb to 14th place in the standings with a total of nine points.
At this point, it would still be sufficient for the Giallorossi to secure a seeded position in the play-off draw.
The top eight teams automatically qualify for the Round of 16, while those ranked 9 to 16 will enter the play-offs and compete against teams ranked 17 to 24.
Teams ranked 25th and below will be completely cut from European competition once this round wraps up in January.
