The Liverpool versus Union Saint-Gilloise game is about to start in just a little over 10 minutes at Anfield. You can follow along with Scott Murray for live updates and coverage.

Early Kick Offs: Full-time Scores

Aris Limassol Beats Rangers 2-1 In Full-time

The Scottish team had a terrible outcome when they played in Cyprus. It was a big disappointment after their first victory against Real Betis. It's important to note that every team in their group has three points.

Marseille And Brighton Tie 2-2 In Full-Time

Brighton have achieved an incredible milestone by securing their inaugural European point! After trailing behind by two goals, they made an impressive comeback. This outcome is of utmost significance for their group.

West Ham Wins 2-1 In Freiburg!

The game was intense as Freiburg goalkeeper Atubolu managed to head the ball during a corner, creating a nervous ending. Regardless, West Ham managed to hold their ground and secure their second consecutive win. Obtaining three points from this specific game is significant as it was considered one of the most challenging matches within the group.

In Serbia, there was a lot of excitement in the 93rd minute. Backa Topola had been losing to Olympiakos by two goals, but due to a red card and two scored goals, the score is now tied at 2-2. There were very intense emotions among the fans.

The football match between Marseille and Brighton lasted for 90 minutes. The referee added an additional seven minutes of extra time to account for any stoppages that may have occurred during the match. The final score was a 2-2 draw between both teams.

The match between Freiburg and West Ham had four more minutes added to it. Paqueta made an amazing pass to Bowen who was running towards the goal, but Bowen took a hasty shot and missed the opportunity to score a goal that was necessary for the Hammers to win.

The Aris Limassol is leading 2-1 against Rangers and six extra minutes have been added to the game. Rangers are making a frantic effort to level the score.

"Late Penalty Equalizer: Marseille 2-2 Brighton With João Pedro Scoring"

João Pedro did an exceptional job! He successfully scored two penalties against AEK Athens, and he was very calm and composed when he tricked Pau López. Brighton has caught up, and they have been playing excellently in the latter half of the game. Will they try to win now?

Brighton Penalized! Clauss Trips Lamptey!

At the 87th minute mark, the French player had a blundering moment. The referee signals for a penalty. Marseille's team members are at risk of losing control, however, the penalty is unquestionable.

83 minutes into the game, there are a few additional results to inform you about.

The score between AEK Athens and Ajax is now tied at 1-1. This match belongs to the same group as that of Marseille/Brighton.

Real Betis defeated Sparta Prague 2-1, with Isco scoring the second goal for the Spanish team in the 79th minute.

In just under 80 minutes, Kudus had a great opportunity to finish the game for West Ham, but unfortunately missed the mark by a few yards. It was lucky for Freiburg as they had allowed Kudus too much space. Kudus has an impressive track record in the Europa League, having already scored five goals - including a hat-trick for Ajax in the qualifying rounds and two goals in West Ham's opening group stage win. It's surprising that he is not considered ineligible to play due to previously playing in the qualifiers, but apparently those games don't count towards the rules.

Atalanta Wins 2-1 Over Sporting Lisbon

A special moment for Coventry City supporters, as the striker from Sweden deceives Musso and scores from a penalty kick taken from a distance of 12 yards. The ball hits the inside of the post and goes into the goal with precision. In the first half, Sporting was poorly performing, but now they have just over 14 minutes to score and even the score.

Aris Limassol Beats Rangers 2-1

There are two noteworthy developments to mention. Aris Limassol managed to score twice in Cyprus, but Sima responds by cutting their lead in half during the 70th minute. This was made possible by a well-executed cross from John Lundstram. The match is now heating up!

In the 72nd minute, Mitoma had a chance to score! Brighton took advantage of a break and Mitoma rushed towards the left. He only had Mbemba to pass, but instead of doing that, he moved towards the African defender and shot the ball on his left from a difficult angle. Sadly, Pau López was able to push it away.

During the 69th minute of the game, Paqueta made a shameful act by faking a fall to persuade the referee to give Sildillia a booking or a red card. It's worth noting that if West Ham manages to either draw or win tonight, they will break the record for the longest unbeaten streak in European games at 17, surpassing the previous record held by Leeds under Don Revie.

Freiburg Defeated By West Ham With 2-1 Score

The team of West Ham is now leading. They scored a goal easily from a corner, and it was Ward-Prowse who assisted the play. Aguerd was able to jump the highest and head the ball into the goal that was left unguarded. Sadly, the goalkeeper Atubolu from Freiburg isn't playing well at all, and this has contributed to their struggle. Atubolu is a Germany Under 21 international goalkeeper who is having a bad day.

After 62 minutes of play, the crowd in Marseille erupts with excitement! The match on the southern coast of France has been absolutely thrilling. Ndiaye manages to break away from the defenders and find himself facing off against Dunk. He tries to maneuver around him, but the Brighton captain manages to catch up just in time to make an essential block. The shot was definitely going to score, had it not been for the heroic effort of the English player.

After 58 minutes of play, Brighton has turned the tables and is now dominating the game. Marseille got lucky when a Van Hecke header hit Welbeck (or so it seems) which prevented Brighton from scoring a certain goal.

In just 56 minutes of the game, something unbelievable happened! Freiburg just missed a golden opportunity to take the lead! Sildillia expertly reached a long cross and skillfully headed the ball towards the goal. Unfortunately, the ball hit the bottom of the post and bounced back towards Höler. Everyone thought that he would score, but much to everyone's amazement, he failed to hit the target from an incredibly close range of just five yards. He must be feeling gutted right now, as it was surely a much easier shot to make. His reaction says it all.

After 55 minutes, Lamptey deserves recognition for his impressive performance. He made an outstanding slide tackle which stopped Harit and prevented a dangerous counter-attack by Marseille. Furthermore, he played a crucial part in setting up Brighton's goal. Although Estupiñán's injury is unfortunate for the team, Lamptey's ability to play as an inverted full back provides a strong alternative option.

Marseille Beats Brighton 2-1 With Gross Scoring At 54'!

Brighton has made a comeback! Gross, an essential player for De Zerbi, has been absent due to injury for the past three games. Today, he scored a fantastic team goal. Lamptey skillfully reached the byline and passed to Mitoma, who sent a low cross to the near post. Welbeck made a clever dummy to deceive Balerdi, leaving Gross open to confidently place the ball into the corner. What a brilliant goal!

Freiburg And West Ham Draw 1-1 With Sallai's Goal At 49'

Fabianski produced an impressive double save to prevent the home team from scoring, but unfortunately, Sallai managed to equalize on his third attempt. Despite maintaining their dominance throughout the game, West Ham has suffered a setback.

After 50 minutes, Marseille's Veretout suffered a hamstring injury and will need to be substituted. Azzedine Ounahi, who was a prominent star in the recent World Cup, will take his place.

After 47 minutes of play, Marseille is once again attacking the opposition. However, they appeal for a penalty after Harit falls in the penalty area. Mitoma, the Brighton player, is under scrutiny for his tackle. Upon close observation, it is evident that it was not a penalty.

Beep! Our eight initial Europa League games have started once again.

Early Kick-Off Half-Time Scores

Atalanta Scores Twice To Beat Sporting Lisbon

Matteo Ruggeri scores again for Italy! He makes a quick run through the defense after receiving a perfect pass. Though his first shot is blocked, Ruggeri manages to grab the rebound and easily taps the ball into the unguarded goal. The team from Sporting is not performing well in this match.

After 41 minutes, Brighton had an opportunity to score, which was their first chance of the game. It happened when Gross made a delightful pass over the top of the defense, but it was not quite perfect for Fati. So, he had to go for a header and try to lift the ball over the goalkeeper, Pau López. However, López reacted brilliantly, moving to his left and saving the ball by tipping it behind.

In just 37 minutes, we received an email from Brian Cruickshank expressing his agreement that Europa League is a more exciting event to watch. He appreciates seeing teams that are driven and eager to perform, especially those that may not have had the opportunity to showcase their talent on an international level before.

Regarding Ringo, I attended a concert in Quebec where a band was performing covers of The Beatles. The drummer caught my attention as I thought he was excellent. It wasn't until later that I realized he was playing Ringo's beats exactly as they were recorded. It was an unexpected realization.

Atalanta Scores First Goal And Leads Sporting

It's fascinating how Atalanta are completely in control of their game against Sporting on their home turf. The team from Portugal have only managed to make one shot on goal compared to the Italians' impressive eight shots. Sporting also have a low possession rate of only 38%. The team from Bergamo have scored a goal that resembles those of Marseille, with Scalvini striking the ball into the back of the net after a cut back on the right. For those who support West Ham, it's worth noting that Scamacca will be on Atalanta's bench for this game.

In the span of 33 minutes, Brighton is not doing well in their European journey as they are in peril of having a terrible start. Meanwhile, Marseille is continuously attacking and Harit has a vast amount of room around the Brighton box. Harit then hits the ball from approximately 20 yards away, and Steele, the goalkeeper, manages to deflect it over the net. It was an excellent save despite the ball being directed straight at Steele.

In the next 30 minutes, let me fill you in on various other objectives that have been accomplished.

Ajax managed to secure a vital 1-0 away victory over AEK Athens in a hard-fought match. The Dutch club controlled the majority of the game with their dominating possession and attacking play, and finally broke the deadlock with a goal from midfielder Dusan Tadic in the 68th minute. Despite some late pressure from AEK Athens, the Ajax defense held strong to secure all three points. This victory puts Ajax in a strong position in their group, as they look to progress to the knockout stages of the Champions League.

Regarding the group containing Aris Limassol and Rangers:

In a recent football match, Real Betis and Sparta Prague played against each other resulting in a 1-1 draw.

Martin Utley sent an email stating that Aris Limasol had the most wonderful trip ever in Europe. He expressed that visiting Glasgow, Seville, and Prague was absolutely amazing.

When it comes to RANGE, it's difficult to find something better.

Brighton Receives VAR Penalty, Then Penalty Revoked

In just 24 minutes, a confusing incident happened in the game. The referee was summoned to look at the screen when Balerdi looked like he handled the ball inside the Marseille area. After reviewing the footage, the ref awarded a penalty. However, play suddenly resumed after a few moments, leaving everyone perplexed. The experts from TNT's commentary team explained that the VAR detected a foul before the handball occurred. Reportedly, Jan Paul van Hecke was penalized for climbing over his marker.

I'm utterly confused. The current state of VAR is chaotic and needs to be eliminated entirely.

In a time of 22 minutes, West Ham's athlete Konstantinos Mavropanos experienced an unfortunate accident. He was hit on the head by his colleague Álvarez resulting in a severe injury. Mavropanos is currently down, with blood in his mouth, but will still continue playing. It's important to ensure that all concussion protocols have been conducted appropriately. The incident was quite painful to witness.

"Marseille Beats Brighton 2-0 With Veretout's Goal"

Marseille has scored again! The second goal came only one minute and 28 seconds after the first one. It was similar to the first goal because Lewis Dunk (who was playing his first European game) made a mistake that allowed Harit to move towards the goal. Harit ran very quickly on the right side and then passed the ball back towards Veretout, who was near the penalty spot. Veretout hit the ball with accuracy for a first-time finish. Unfortunately, the goalkeeper Steele could have done better and prevented the goal.

Marseille Scores First! Mbemba's Goal At 18' Against Brighton

Brighton is losing! Clauss, who is considered one of the top right backs in Europe, skillfully exchanges passes with a teammate, makes it to the edge of the field, and sends a low ball into the box. Mbemba, who used to play for Newcastle, finds some room and scores from 12 yards away. The Stade Vélodrome is going crazy! It's incredibly noisy in there.

After 16 minutes, I received an email from Mark Crowder, discussing The Beatles. Mark mentioned that Ringo often receives criticism because he is always compared to John Lennon and Paul McCartney. Comparing Ringo to them is like calling a football player a "flop" simply because they are not as successful as Haaland.

In approximately 14 minutes of play, West Ham's dominance over Freiburg is evident. Despite Freiburg's goalkeeper, Atubolu, appearing tense, the visitors have hit the post and continue to put pressure on. Paqueta also had an effort ruled out for offside, which was done accurately. The scoreline remains at Freiburg 0-1 West Ham.

Aris Limassol Scores First Against Rangers: 1-0!

The Scottish team, Rangers, is now trailing behind after Alex Moucketou-Moussounda scored a header. This goal allowed the Cypriot club to surpass the Scottish giants in the group standings. The situation does not look favorable for the team that is being led by Steven Davis on an interim basis.

West Ham Scores First Goal In Freiburg Match

The Hammers have done it once more! Paqueta's header was absolutely amazing, and it's what gave them the advantage in Germany! Bowen found space on the right, sent in an accurate cross directly into the penalty area, and Paqueta leaped highest to plant an exceptional header past Atubolu's right side. It was truly magnificent!

In just 6 minutes, I received an electronic mail from Tom Aldous.

Answering your inquiry regarding improved European tournament groups for away games, we can observe that this year's Champions League presents:

Are you thinking of traveling to some amazing cities in Europe? How about visiting San Sebastian, Milan, Lisbon, and Salzburg? These four cities have a lot to offer, from stunning architecture to mouth-watering cuisine and rich history. In San Sebastian, explore the beautiful beaches and the old town, and don't forget to try the famous pintxos (tapas). Milan is a fashion capital, but it also boasts historical landmarks such as the iconic Milan Cathedral. Lisbon, the capital of Portugal, is a charming city full of brightly colored buildings and picturesque streets, not to mention the delicious seafood and pasteis de nata (custard tarts). Last, but certainly not least, Salzburg in Austria is a city with breathtaking Alpine views and famous for being the birthplace of Mozart. Pack your bags, and get ready for an unforgettable trip to these four incredible European destinations.

Madrid, Naples, Braga, and Berlin are all different cities with unique characteristics that make them stand out. Each of these cities has its own culture, cuisine, and history that attract tourists from all over the world. Whether you are interested in exploring ancient ruins, trying new foods, or enjoying vibrant nightlife, these cities have something to offer. Madrid, the capital city of Spain, is famous for its museums, nightlife, and architecture. The Prado Museum, Royal Palace, and Retiro Park are some of the most popular attractions. The city is also known for its lively bars and clubs, which offer a great way to experience the local culture. Naples, located in southern Italy, is renowned for its pizza, ancient ruins, and beautiful coastline. The historic center of Naples has been designated as a UNESCO World Heritage Site, and Pompeii and Herculaneum are two nearby archaeological sites that provide a glimpse into ancient Roman life. Braga, in northern Portugal, is a small city with a big history. The city is known for its Baroque churches, including the Bom Jesus do Monte sanctuary and the Sé Cathedral. Braga also has a thriving food scene, with local specialties like roasted kid and codfish cakes. Berlin, the capital city of Germany, is famous for its history, art, and music scenes. The Berlin Wall, Brandenburg Gate, and Museum Island are some of the top attractions. The city is also known for its clubs and electronic music, which draw thousands of visitors each year.

I think both cities are comparable in quality to Brighton, Marseille, Amsterdam, and Athens.

In just two minutes, we can see that Gattuso, who is the current coach of Marseille, is already very active on the sidelines. Unfortunately, he hasn't been able to convince anyone that he is as skilled at coaching as he was at playing. This is evident in the fact that Marseille hasn't won a match since August and they suffered a 4-0 loss in a match called Le Classique just last month.

I highly recommend reading this article, which was written just before Gattuso took up his role.

Beep beep! The early games have started. I hope Ed and Stephanie arrive safely at the Vélodrome!

Marseille V Brighton: Pre-match Fan Problems

Ed Aarons, who is currently positioned in Marseille, has communicated problems that are occurring.

Numerous supporters of Brighton are facing difficulties reaching the Stade Velodrome this evening owing to an extensive traffic gridlock in Marseille. Moreover, even exclusive buses organized by the club's chairman, Tony Bloom, from the airport for those passengers who have suffered flight delays might be unable to arrive at the stadium on schedule.

A fellow member of this community (who is also a passionate supporter of Brighton) named Stephanie Fincham is currently located in southern France. She sent me a message informing me:

I'm currently on a fan bus accompanied by the police heading towards Marseille. It seems there are no other options for transportation. However, we are still 30 minutes away from our destination and the situation is quite chaotic and upsetting. There aren't enough buses to accommodate everyone.

We followed the numerous emails and headed to the fanzine, but unfortunately there weren't sufficient buses available.

I was aware that people would criticize me for this. Mark Hooper was the first one to correct me through email.

I concur with the argument regarding the Championship. However, the comparison made is flawed because Ringo's musical prowess was exceptional. Many unskilled indie bands attempted to imitate his laid-back and unconventional approach to drumming, yet they all failed. Moreover, Ringo's innovative technique is evident in the outro of Strawberry Fields, where he essentially created the genre of drum n bass.

I'm not entirely convinced by comparing Ringo to drum 'n' bass music, but I definitely think he doesn't deserve any negative comments, and Ben Cardew does a great job of explaining why in his article.

Speaking of Marseille versus Brighton, let me share a few preview articles from Ed Aarons, who is fortunate enough to have the opportunity.

In 2019, Ndiaye was with Boreham Wood. But now, he's playing for one of his previous youth teams in the Europa League, and he's valued at £20 million. It's crazy to think how much his career has progressed.

I have a challenge for you all. Can anyone suggest a set of group stage away days that are more exciting than Brighton's upcoming Europa League fixtures in Marseille, Ajax, and Athens?

Wow, Marseille is quite an amazing place.

Freiburg Vs. West Ham: Football Face-Off!

The Freiburg football team has players with interesting names such as Atubolu, Sildialli, Ginter, Lienhart, Sallai, Eggestein, Hofler, Kubler, Adamu, Holer, and Grifo. They have substitutes as well, including Schmidt, Gulde, Weisshaupt, Muller, Philipp, Uphoff, Makengo, Rohl, Rudlin, Doan, and Breunig.

The West Ham team that played in the recent match consisted of Fabianski, Mavropanos, Alvarez, Kehrer, Coufal, Ward-Prowse, Lucas Paqueta, Fornals, Aguerd, Bowen, and Kudus. One time, there was a tale about John Lennon being questioned about whether or not Ringo Starr was the most superior drummer worldwide.

According to the tale, Lennon resolutely proclaimed that Ringo was not the finest drummer out there. Lennon even went so far as to declare that within The Beatles, Ringo was not the most outstanding drummer.

Although it has since been revealed as a joke from a BBC comedy show, I still remember the tale that comes to mind whenever someone raves about the Premier League being the top league globally. To be truthful, it's not even the best league in England. That badge belongs to the Championship, albeit in an unofficial capacity. In this division, anything can and often does happen, making it highly unpredictable.

In my opinion, the Europa League is a more captivating tournament than the Champions League. I may have taken a roundabout approach to express this, but that is the bottom line.

Take a closer look at the beginning of the Europa League this year. How about AEK Athens winning against the current popular football team, Brighton, with a score of 3-2 at their home stadium? I would definitely choose a double goal by Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang in Marseille's 3-3 tie with Ajax over watching the latest Manchester City group-stage triumph any day. It was also exciting to see Freiburg secure a last-minute victory against Olympiakos with a score of 3-2. These results are truly extravagant and we appreciate them greatly.

Here are the options for tonight's games. They are very impressive. I will be guiding you through the matches starting at 5:45 pm British Summer Time. Come along with me.
