UK winner of EuroMillions scoops £177m jackpot
A ticket-holder in the UK has clinched £177 million in the EuroMillions draw, becoming the third-largest winner in the history of the National Lottery.
The numbers that came up as winners were 07, 11, 25, 31, and 40, along with the Lucky Stars 09 and 12.
So far, no one has stepped up to claim the prize, and players are encouraged to look over their tickets as soon as possible.
Andy Carter, a senior advisor for winners at Allwyn, which runs the National Lottery, exclaimed, "What an amazing evening it has been for one lucky ticket holder in the UK who has just won the astonishing £177 million EuroMillions jackpot!"
Their victory has earned them a place on the National Lottery's Rich List, making them the third largest winner in the history of the National Lottery!
"What an incredible victory just in time for Christmas! We’re so excited to distribute this fantastic prize."

A ticket holder from the UK, who remains unnamed, won an incredible £195 million EuroMillions jackpot on July 19, 2022. This amount marks the largest win in the history of the National Lottery.
The second-place winners are Joe and Jess Thwaite from Gloucester, who claimed a staggering £184.3 million on May 10, 2022, with a randomly selected ticket. This amount set a new record at the time.
