Towards the conclusion of the webinar, a brief chance will be given for attendees to pose some questions. Please be advised that considering the significant number of attendees, it may not be feasible to cater to each question on an individual basis. Nevertheless, questions that share common themes will be gathered together to provide comprehensive responses and impart as much pertinent information as feasible.

This online seminar is specifically created for guardians and caregivers of kids and youngsters with special learning needs or disabilities (SEND) who have been expelled from school or are in danger of being thrown out. It is relevant no matter if your kid has a proper Education, Health, and Care plan or not.

Please be aware that this online seminar is specifically meant for families residing in England. Separate laws and regulations are applicable to families living in Wales and Scotland.

Alex Stafford: Your Personal Trainer

Alex works as a lawyer for the legal division of IPSEA. Her role involves training newly recruited volunteers and providing continued training to existing volunteers. Alex conducts training sessions for parents, schools, SEN specialists and local authorities as part of IPSEA's external training program. In addition to training, Alex provides legal assistance to IPSEA volunteers and monitors their responses to cases and helpline advice. She also helps in the development of legal updates and produces legally oriented written material. Alex is also involved in the group responsible for local and national policy work.
