Emma Raducanu, the former US Open champion, has pulled out of yet another tournament because of a foot injury.

The 21-year-old announced on X that she will not be participating in next week's Hong Kong Open due to a lack of match readiness.

Raducanu hasn't competed since she had to withdraw during her quarter-final match against Daria Kasatkina at the Korea Open last month. She shared that she had injured the ligaments in her foot.

"Even though my foot is healing well, I still need some additional time before I’m ready to compete," she mentioned in her update.

The player ranked 55th in the world mentioned that she is "doing everything possible" to prepare for the Billie Jean King Cup Finals, where Anne Keothavong's team will face Germany on November 15.

Since her injury, the British number two has opted out of five tournaments, including Hong Kong.
