Eminem Learns He's About To Become A Grandfather In Candid New Music Video
Eminem's daughter Hailie had something unexpected in store for him during the filming of his newest music video.
On Thursday night, the hit rapper released the music video for "Temporary," a track from his album The Death Of Slim Shady. The video includes intimate home movie clips showcasing the Grammy-winning artist and his daughter when she was young.
Among the footage, there's a segment from Hailie's wedding day in May where he becomes emotional upon seeing her in her wedding dress for the first time.
In a surprising moment later in the video, Hailie reveals to her father that she is expecting a child. She does this by gifting him an American football jersey that has the word "Grandpa" printed on it.
The social media influencer and podcast host then gives her father what looks like the ultrasound image of her future baby.
The track "Temporary" comes from Eminem's newest album, The Death Of Slim Shady, and is clearly a tribute to Hailie.
Many individuals often inquire whether I fear death. Honestly, what worries me the most is the thought of not being able to express everything I wish to convey to you when I'm gone," Eminem shares at the start of the song. "So, this track is dedicated to Hailie for when that moment arrives."
Hailie is Eminem's daughter with his former wife, Kim Scott, and she is his only biological child. In addition, he adopted his niece Alaina and his former partner's child, Stevie, in the 2000s.
In the beginning of the song "Temporary," Eminem expresses to Hailie, “I hope you take care of Alaina, Stevie, and Uncle Nate. And remember to stay strong, sweetheart.”
