reported on a new app called TripIt that organizes all your travel plans in one place. Rewritten: In an Android Authority blog, writer Ryan Haines highlighted a recently launched app named TripIt that helps in managing all of one's travel arrangements in a single place. The app has many useful features such as keeping a record of flight schedules, providing flight updates in real-time, and allowing one to share their travel plans with acquaintances. This app is compatible with both Android and iOS.

Elon Musk, the Chief Executive Officer of Twitter, has shared some news that will impact the social networking site. From the 15th of April, Twitter will exclusively highlight the profiles of users who have subscribed to the paid option, Twitter Blue, in its “For You” suggestions. Additionally, only those who pay for the subscription will be able to take part in polls on Twitter. Musk broke the news via his verified Twitter account.

If you sign up for a Twitter Blue subscription via the web, it will cost you $8 each month. But if you use mobile apps to sign up, you'll need to pay more. Interestingly enough, there are no additional verification measures beyond payment. This means that anyone can use a fake name and still be considered "verified" on the platform.

Previously, Twitter used to require accounts to go through identity verification before they could receive the coveted "verified" blue tick. However, the social media platform has since announced that this verification system is no longer in use. As a result, accounts that were verified under the old system will lose their verified status by April 1st. Moving forward, the only way to maintain that blue tick verification status will be by subscribing to Twitter Blue.

Musk believes that the new modifications are necessary to combat the bot swarm issue, which could be affecting the social media platform. Nonetheless, he hasn't disclosed any additional information on the matter. Considering that the subscription doesn't authenticate any personal information, it's unclear how the suggested algorithm and voting alterations will address the problem of bot swarms.

Musk made it clear that the facility will still welcome bot accounts that have been confirmed and comply with the regulations without pretending to be a person.

With the new and forthcoming alterations, it's unclear if individuals will opt to spend money on a Twitter Blue membership. This could be an opportune moment for people to explore other options for their social media needs. We'll need to observe and see what transpires.
