Elizabeth Holmes, founder of Theranos, has surrendered herself for an 11-year jail sentence. She was held accountable for fraud charges in relation to the blood testing and analysis technology developed by her company. Holmes promised to perform accurate blood tests using a single drop of blood, however, the tests were inaccurate and could not fulfil their claims. A jury found her guilty of nine counts of financial fraud. Holmes will now pay for her illegal activities.
