Edinburgh: Police close roads around Cowgate after incident
Several streets in central Edinburgh have been shut down due to what the police are calling a "traffic incident."
A spokesperson from Police Scotland announced, "Around 7:30 PM on Saturday, November 2, we received reports of a person walking being hit by a car. Investigations are still in progress."
Blair Street, Guthrie Street, and Candlemaker Road are currently shut down.
Drivers are urged to steer clear of the area and take different paths.
