During the 2013 Capital FM Summertime Ball at Wembley Stadium, Sheeran and Swift teamed up to sing Everything Has Changed together.

He has sung on Taylor Swift's The Red Tour before, which took place from 2013 to 2014. In 2022, he collaborated with Swift to release a new version of The Joker And The Queen as a duet.

During the performance, she mentioned that he was "like family to me" and praised his successful career, noting that he frequently performs at Wembley Stadium. She emphasized that playing at such a prestigious venue has become routine for him.

"He has put in a lot of effort and he must be really exhausted, but he decided to come and perform for you. Let's applaud him for that."

After Sheeran finished his performance and exited the stage, Swift asked the audience: "I had such a great time, did you enjoy yourselves?"

Afterwards, she performed a mix of Reputation's King Of My Heart and The Tortured Poets Department's The Alchemy, which is thought to be a nod to her boyfriend, NFL player Travis Kelce, as the second unexpected song.

The American singer changed her outfit multiple times and at one point wore a T-Shirt that said "a lot happening right now" as she performed on stage following the cancellation of her three shows in Vienna due to a reported terror threat.
