Pregnant EastEnders star Lacey Turner 'excited' for next life chapter
EastEnders star Lacey Turner expressed her joy as she prepares to welcome her third child.
The 36-year-old actress is widely recognized for her portrayal of Stacey Slater on the BBC One soap opera.
In September, she announced through an Instagram post that her two kids, Dusty and Trilby, will soon have a baby brother or sister joining the family.
Next to a photo of Lacey, her partner Matt, and friends Dusty and Trilby at the beach, all holding ultrasound images, she captioned it: "How fortunate are we...".
The star has been involved in several major plotlines this year, including Stacey's romantic relationship with Jack Branning (Scott Maslen) and her connection to the murder of Keanu Taylor (Danny Walters).
Last week, Ruby Allen, Martin Fowler's former best friend, made her surprise comeback, bringing some startling information for him: two years back, she had a baby boy, and he is Martin's son!
As she prepares for her maternity leave, she recently shared in an interview that she isn’t worried about the sleepless nights that are coming her way.
"That's no problem at all," she chuckled, then said, "I can't wait for all of us, honestly."
She went on to say to The Mirror, "It feels like a new chapter in our journey, and I'm really looking forward to it. There's nothing quite like holding a newborn and enjoying those sweet cuddles. We are genuinely excited and can't wait for what's to come."
There haven't been any confirmed details about her exit yet, but fans have already noticed that she might not be involved in the upcoming 40th Anniversary celebrations.
Lacey expressed that she feels "really fortunate" to have spent so much time on EastEnders, attributing this experience to being surrounded by wonderful colleagues.
She said, "I can't pinpoint a specific highlight; I've encountered incredible individuals and gained valuable insights. I consider myself fortunate."
