Eamonn Holmes' girlfriend Katie Alexander is 'too glam to give a damn'

She refers to herself as 'too glamorous to care', enjoys dancing around in the kitchen, and embodies the playful spirit of a mom who rides down the stairs on a mattress.

At first look, relationship counselor Katie Alexander, 43, may not appear to be a typical match for TV host Eamonn Holmes, 64, especially given their 21-year age difference.

The ex-Good Morning Britain host ended his marriage with Ruth Langsford in May. Friends indicated that the Loose Women panelist felt more like a caregiver than a partner, as the Belfast-born personality increasingly became 'more irritable.'

Eamonn has been dealing with back issues since he experienced slipped discs and had a fall at home in 2022. He is currently using walking aids and a wheelchair as he works to recover his ability to move freely again.

It's clear that a divorce and health problems can make things tough for any new couple, but mother-of-three Katie is reportedly very taken with the TV personality. The two are currently having a great time together on a cruise around Europe.

A crucial aspect of understanding the couple's relationship could be Katie's attraction to older men. The father of her eldest son was almost 40 years older than she is, and her former husband was a decade her senior.

Eamonn Holmes was seen with his new partner, Katie Alexander, while in Barcelona on Sunday.

Stylish mother of three, Katie Alexander, has shared her passion for dancing while in the kitchen.

"I occasionally meet up with Katie, but she's living in London now. I have no negative feelings towards her; she's genuinely a lovely person," he shared with MailOnline.

As reported earlier by MailOnline, Katie was just 19 and employed as a shop assistant when she started dating coach driver Michael Devine, who was 59 at the time. Despite their significant age difference, the pair enjoyed a five-year relationship and welcomed a son, Ben, who is now 22 and an enthusiastic football player.

At 81 years old, Devine looks back on their moments together with affection, expressing how wonderful it is that she has discovered love with GB News presenter Holmes.

The eye-catching blonde named Alexander has frequently been spotted alongside Holmes, leading to speculation about their engagement after she was seen earlier this week wearing a diamond ring on her ring finger. However, she later admitted that it was just costume jewelry.

In an exclusive conversation with MailOnline, Devine revealed that his son informed him about the couple's relationship.

He mentioned that Ben informed him Eamonn and Katie were an item, but Ben doesn’t talk much; he prefers playing football.

Devine, who hails from Dewsbury in West Yorkshire, mentioned that he has a strong bond with his son and visits him at least once a week.

It's clear that Alexander has developed a strong affection for the charming former Good Morning Britain presenter, who revealed his split from his wife of 14 years, Ruth Langsford, back in May.

At the age of 19, Alexander was employed as a store clerk when she became enamored with Michael Devine, who was 59 at the time and is now 81 (as shown in the photo). The two were in a relationship for five years and share a son named Ben, who is now 22 years old.

Although he and Katie ended their relationship over twenty years ago, they still maintain a friendly rapport.

"We've been apart for quite a few years, but I make it a point to see my son often, usually about once a week," he mentioned.

I catch up with Katie every now and then, but she’s living in London. I hold no resentment toward her at all; she’s truly a lovely person.

"I truly hope for the best for her. Katie is simply outstanding."

Devine mentioned that his job as a coach driver kept him away from home for extended periods, which created challenges in his relationship.

He accepted responsibility for the separation, saying, "It was my job that led to the breakup. I was freelancing and focusing on transporting people, and that played a big role."

On August 10th, their son arrived at Dewsbury District Hospital, carrying a combined last name of Robshaw-Devine, which reflects both of his parents' surnames.

Posts made by her son on social media offer an insightful look into Katie's playful and spirited character.

Alexander is a relationship counselor, and her website mentions that she uses a comprehensive method in her counseling practice.

One picture he posted in 2013 captures his mom sledding down the staircase at home on a mattress.

"Sometimes I find myself questioning who the kid in our home really is," he shared. "My mom is literally sliding down the stairs on a mattress!"

In other photos, she can be seen playfully sticking her tongue out while posing with her son.

Following the end of her relationship with the father of her children, she met and married George Alexander, who owns a bar, and they had two kids together, a boy and a girl.

It seems that she played a role in the family enterprise and had previously been listed as a director of the pizza café that her former husband operated.

At the same time, Eamonn is stepping into the role of grandfather. His son Declan and his wife Jenny have two young daughters.

If everything goes well with Katie, Eamonn will become a stepdad to her youngest child, a 13-year-old boy, out of her three kids.

Katie's background in counseling gives her the skills needed to handle a relationship that comes with its own set of difficulties.

She provides therapy sessions in-person, over the phone, and online, charging £45 for a 50-minute appointment. Her practice is located at the Easthorpe Hall wellness center in Mirfield.

"I use a person-centered approach in my counseling, which means I focus entirely on you, the client, and take into consideration all aspects of your experience. This allows you to share your thoughts and feelings openly, without fear of being judged," she explained.

I truly believe that you have the ability and strength to achieve your life goals. My role is to assist you in navigating through the challenges that can be tough to tackle on your own.

Her Instagram bio describes her as a 'kitchen dancer with a fabulous spirit that doesn't care what others think.'

In her free time, she enjoys photography and has created a personal account to showcase her作品.

An anonymous reviewer also commended Alexander's services, stating, "Katie put me at ease during our sessions, engaging with me without any judgment and helping me see things from a new perspective."

"My self-assurance has increased significantly, and I strongly suggest Katie to anyone who is uncertain about whether therapy is suitable for them."

On the other hand, she showcases her playful side, as indicated by her Instagram bio which playfully states: 'Dancing in the kitchen with a soul that's too fabulous to care.'

In another part of her online presence, she operates an Instagram account that showcases her passion for photography. Her bio states: "A Yorkshire girl who loves photography and enjoys capturing moments!"

The two individuals are said to have crossed paths several years back, but they've developed a strong friendship in the last couple of years.

They first connected through Twitter when they were both participating in a mental health charity.

Alexander made a remark on a post, which led to a discussion between the two.

Recently, Katie has been spotted at Holmes' rented place in South West London. This visit comes after he relocated from his home with Ruth in Surrey, as well as her former residence in Yorkshire.

Friends have shared with MailOnline that her connection with Holmes is so strong that she is 'in love' with him.

It seems she developed a strong bond with the celebrity following several outings together, and she has supposedly expressed her intention to commit for the long term.

An insider shared with The Mirror: "She's supporting Eamonn during difficult moments but doesn't want to come off as someone trying to break up his marriage."

Their friendship has deepened in the past few months, but Eamonn's marriage has been finished for a while now.

The article states that Holmes has taken her on a trip to a safari park, to watch a Manchester United match, to a Beyoncé concert, and has showered her with presents.

He has supported a charity associated with her work and assisted in organizing a fundraising event at no cost.

Friends mentioned that the woman has expertise in counseling for issues like dealing with sadness and navigating separation and divorce. This makes her a suitable choice to support Holmes during this period of uncertainty.

Although his friendship with Katie isn’t directly cited as a cause for the marriage issues, it has come to light that Ruth only learned about Katie recently. As a result, she has chosen to take a break from work.

Holmes and Langsford got married in 2010 after being together for 13 years. They held a luxurious wedding at the magnificent 19th-century hotel, The Elvetham, located in Hampshire.

Although his friendship with Alexander isn't specifically mentioned as a cause for the marriage problems, it's known that Langsford only learned about her recently and has chosen to step back from work for a while.

A source revealed to The Sun: "Ruth clearly realized her marriage was falling apart, but as more information comes to light, her feelings of sadness have shifted to anger."

Eamonn's friend is overwhelmed by the generous attention and warmth he receives from him.

A friend shared with The Mirror, "Ruth was upset when she found out about Eamonn's relationship with another woman, but she's resilient and will be back before long, smiling and ready to move on, just like she always does."

She requires some time to gather her thoughts after everything that's happened, which is completely reasonable. However, she intends to come back to Loose Women in July, feeling refreshed and energized.

The friend strongly emphasized that there was absolutely no possibility of the couple reconciling.
