Following the surprising news, the royal has deleted all posts featuring Sheikh Mana from her social media accounts. Her photos now only show updates about her charitable work and her young daughter.
The ex-partners revealed their plans to get married in March 2023 through a statement from the Arabian Royal Agency. The announcement of the engagement of HH Sheikha Mahra, daughter of HH Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, was made on Wednesday evening. Sheikh Mohammed is the Vice President and Prime Minister of the United Arab Emirates as well as the Ruler of Dubai, and Sheikh Mana Bin Mohammed Bin Rashid Bin Mana Al Maktoum.
"Congratulations to the lovely pair," the company shared on their social media platform.
They validated the news by sharing a poem written by Sheikh Mana's father, Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Bin Mana Al Maktoum.
"God's day was filled with happiness, with people writing books and exchanging congratulations with each other. Everyone was filled with joy and our night became as bright as day because of the good news about 'Mana.' Along the edges, the 'Mahra' held a mix of affection and distance, like daughters of the wind."
With lovely words, Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Bin Mana Al Maktoum shared the happy news of his son, Sheikh Mana Bin Mohammed Al Maktoum, marrying Her Highness Sheikha Mahra Bint Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum.
Sheikha Mahra, the daughter of Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, who is the Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and the Ruler of Dubai, tied the knot with Sheikh Mana in a traditional Islamic wedding ceremony known as Katb Al-Kitab on 28 May 2023. They later celebrated with a luxurious wedding reception in Dubai the next month.
There are only a few pictures left on her Instagram that show she was once in a relationship. In these photos, she is either alone or with her family on her wedding day. She is wearing a beautiful off-the-shoulder wedding dress designed by Ezra Couture from Dubai. The dress has a decorated bodice, sheer caped sleeves, and a stunning train with a delicate geometric pattern.
Sheikha Mahra wore her dark brown hair styled in flowing curls with some of it pinned up at the top and a glittering veil added for extra glamour. She completed her royal look with a Chopard diamond necklace and earrings that matched perfectly.
The bride stood next to her elegant mother from Greece, Zoe Grigorakos, who was stunning in a pleated dress in a sparkling pink shade. The dress had a Greek-inspired style with a belt at the waist and a one-shoulder neckline. Sheikha Mahra's mother, who looked just like her, also wore her long curls in a matching fashion.
The couple celebrated the birth of their daughter, Mahra, who was named after her mother, in May 2024.
Sheikha Mahra showed her modern style within the royal family when she announced her pregnancy on social media before anything else. "Just us three," she wrote alongside a picture of her baby scan.
Nevertheless, she indirectly mentioned having troubles in her relationship by posting a picture of herself embracing her daughter and captioning it with: "Just the two of us."
