In free English: According to Kev Handley, his gold Dalek is "superior" and more alike to the real aliens compared to his previous grey one.

On the 21st of December in 1963, the Daleks made their inaugural appearance on television. These iconic antagonists were brought to life by the imagination of writer Terry Nation and the design skills of Raymond Cusick.

According to Mr. Handley, all the science fiction things we saw in the past involved men wearing suits or someone disguised as a robot.

I found this alien to be quite convincing. They never scared me, but they definitely caught my interest and continue to do so to this day.

In the year 2000, Mr Handley along with his sons constructed their initial Dalek by utilizing their self-made designs and resources collected from their household.

According to him, the primary materials used to create it are MDF, fibreglass, and aluminium tubes. The eyepiece is designed like a magic eight ball, and a tin container is placed inside along with Perspex discs of varying colors.

Unsatisfied with his initial creation, he was adamant about constructing a second Dalek that closely resembled the extraterrestrial beings seen on the screen.

The Dalek made of gold stands at a height of roughly 1.75 meters or 5 feet and 9 inches and is located inside the living area of Kev Handley's home.

He managed to obtain blueprints inspired by the authentic props with the help of the Project Dalek online community.

Mr. Handley assembled a superior version of Dalek in 2020 by utilizing various components. The upgraded version includes a voice changer that distorts the user's voice and an air duster to generate smoke effects.

Afterward, he exhibited the full-scale Dalek at Capcon, an exhibition for people who participate in cosplay and collect props at Trinity Park.

According to Mr. Handley, many individuals are unaware of the presence of a person inside. All they have to do is sit on it, wait for people to come by, and the individual operating it from within tilts the head a bit, causing them to startle.

According to Mr. Handley, the reason why the show has lasted for so long is because new doctors keep appearing.

"The series is constantly evolving with the introduction of new doctors, distinct personas, and fresh companions. The overall nature of the show is adaptable and flexible over time."

Ncuti Gatwa, known for his role in Sex Education, is set to join the cast of Doctor Who as the 15th doctor. Fans can expect to see him on screen for the first time on December 25th.
