The 37-year-old stepped onto the court for the first time since confronting some fans and accusing them of being disrespectful after his victory against Holger Rune.

However, Djokovic showcased excellent skill as he beat Lorenzo Musetti in consecutive sets, leading to a repeat of the Wimbledon final from last year against Carlos Alcaraz.

"In the game, it's time to focus and compete against your rival," he mentioned. "I'm thrilled to reach another final but I'm not satisfied yet. I hope to win the trophy this time."

Some people in the audience may have believed he was teasing them, but Djokovic has been marking his wins over the past two weeks by performing on the violin - even prior to Monday evening's occurrences.

This is a dedication to his six-year-old daughter, who is discovering how to play the instrument and has been observing his matches on the court together with Djokovic's eight-year-old son.

"I did that for Tara," Djokovic mentioned in a previous interview during the tournament. "My daughter has been learning the violin for quite some time now, about six months, and we decided that I would celebrate in that manner."

Last year at Wimbledon, Djokovic lost to Alcaraz in a thrilling five-set match. Now, he aims to equal Federer's impressive record of eight men's titles this Sunday.

During Monday evening, the Serbian player was constantly met with shouts of "Rune," which he claimed were meant to be negative in a lively setting.

Djokovic criticized the fans who were supporting Rune and expressed his belief that their behavior was disrespectful. He then abruptly ended an interview with the BBC after being repeatedly questioned about the incident.

"Thank you so much to all the fans who have shown respect and stayed here tonight, I truly appreciate it from the depths of my heart," Djokovic expressed on Monday evening.

To all those who decided to disrespect the player, specifically me, have a very enjoyable evening. Goodnight, goodnight, goodnight.

"They were definitely cheering for Rune, but I refuse to believe it. I understand that it may seem like an excuse to boo. I have been a part of the tour for 20 years and I am familiar with all the tactics used. It doesn't bother me, I am okay with it."

I prioritize those who are respectful, purchase their tickets, attend the event, enjoy tennis, and show appreciation for the players' hard work.

"I competed in a very unfriendly setting; believe me, you all can't compare. I'm feeling fantastic while playing, just taking it one day at a time. I'll be practicing on the courts tomorrow and reviewing this match."
