Whyte made his return to the ring for the first time since March, facing a tougher challenge than anticipated from the determined Tetteh. Tetteh endured a series of heavy blows before his corner decided to stop the fight before the eighth round.

In the first round, Whyte shook Tetteh with a flurry of sharp jabs, which caused the Ghanaian to react impulsively, throwing big, swinging hooks in response.

The wild match carried on into the second round, with Tetteh futilely arguing about body punches while exchanging blows with Whyte at close quarters.

The rhythm slowed in the third round when Whyte delivered a quick, direct right punch.

In the fourth round, Tetteh charged ahead, and though blood was streaming from his nose, he momentarily gave Whyte a tough time with a wild attack.

In the fifth round, Whyte dominated by using a sharp jab that inflicted more damage on Tetteh's already bloodied face.

In the sixth round, Whyte launched a fierce assault that left Tetteh in a precarious situation. However, during the chaos, the British fighter lost his balance and fell to the ground after a missed hook, leading the referee to determine it was not a knockdown.

Tetteh almost lost his balance at the end of the seventh round, and he avoided further damage when the referee stopped the fight after he wearily made his way back to his corner.
