The humorous heroic character, Deadpool, is scheduled to make a comeback to the movies this summer in the film Deadpool & Wolverine. During Sunday's (11 February) Super Bowl game, fans were able to witness a preview of the latest trailer for this series.

Ryan Reynolds plays the role of Wade Wilson, which is his initial attempt at being a part of the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) after his absence for over half a decade.

The trailer shows that Wilson's birthday party gets disrupted by an unexpected appearance of the Time Variance Authority (TVA) while he's reflecting upon his past few hard years. He says he's content despite the difficulties. However, the party ends abruptly due to the TVA's arrival.

The individuals responsible for overseeing multiple universes were most recently observed during the second installment of the Disney+ program Loki, presenting another convergence in their imaginary realms.

In the trailer, Reynolds' character shows off his unique humor that breaks the fourth wall. As he looks directly into the camera, he jokes with lines such as, "Disney may be new to pegging, but I am not, my friend."
