It is anticipated that De Minaur will compete against Sinner for the championship, while either Alexei Popyrin or Jordan Thompson may go up against Lorenzo Musetti.

Sinner has emerged victorious for the third time in four matches against the typically unbeatable Djokovic, during an 11-day period. This was a crucial move as it helped Italy to remain in the competition by defeating the 24-time Grand Slam winner with scores of 6-2, 2-6, 7-5 in the second singles game.

Sinner and Lorenzo Sonego emerged victorious over Djokovic and Miomir Kecmanovic in the doubles match, winning by a score of 6-3, 6-4. Kecmanovic had previously beaten Lorenzo Musetti in the first match with a score of 6-7 (7/9), 6-2, 6-1.

Sinner, who is ranked fourth in the world, managed to avoid defeat by saving three match points during his singles match against Djokovic. Despite Djokovic being in excellent condition at the age of 36, Sinner was able to hold his own.

Sinner expressed his pride in how he dealt with the situation, sharing that they have a fantastic chance tomorrow but they are striving to remain calm and positive by keeping a smile in their thoughts.

Djokovic, who has emerged as the winner in seven major tournaments this year and three Grand Slams, had set his sights on leading the Serbian team, crowned champions in 2010, to the finals for the first time in ten years.

Sinner accomplished a significant victory in his career, as he defeated Djokovic at the Davis Cup. This makes him the first player to defeat Djokovic in a singles match at the Davis Cup since Juan Martin del Potro in 2011, which breaks a streak of 21 consecutive wins for Djokovic.

Djokovic congratulated Italy for their successful qualification into the finals and acknowledged their impressive performance, especially Jannik's efforts in the singles match against him, followed by the doubles match.

Throughout the entire match, he was extremely close to hitting the ball every time, which means we can only applaud and show our respect for such an impressive performance.

Sinner emerged victorious in the initial confrontation amongst the four battles they faced off in the ATP Finals group stage. However, despite that, Djokovic managed to seize the second battle and secured the championship title. Meanwhile, Sinner demonstrated their prowess twice more in front of a packed crowd at the Martin Carpena arena.

Djokovic made a commotion in the past week when he argued with loud British supporters and then expressed his anger at being requested to undergo a doping control examination before his last eight match on Thursday.

The Serbian tennis player was not pleased with the loud and disruptive Italian fans during the doubles match, which resulted in him finishing the year without the team title that he really wanted. Despite a successful year, this particular loss left him unsatisfied.

At the age of 22, Sinner, who is 14 years younger, managed to break Djokovic in both the third and fifth games. This allowed him to quickly gain a significant 5-1 lead.

The Italian player ended the initial set amazingly well by serving an ace and hitting 12 winning shots, compared to Djokovic's lackluster performance of only one winner. This all took place in an impressive 38-minute timeframe.

He lost focus for a bit and made a mistake in tennis by double-faulting during the first break point, causing him to fall behind 3-1 in the second round.

Djokovic skillfully took advantage of the situation, winning the set by breaking Sinner's serve again after he hit a forehand shot that went out of bounds.

The Serbian was building up speed and power.

In the third set, Djokovic held the upper hand as Sinner managed to dodge two break points. Sinner was unable to put any pressure on Djokovic's serve.

During the intense 10th game, Sinner initially faltered and allowed three match points for Djokovic. But then, Sinner gathered himself and impressively won five points in a row, securing the crucial hold for a 5-5 score. Sinner then capitalized on a break opportunity with Djokovic and maintained his lead to ultimately emerge as the victor.

To me, it's a major letdown since I am accountable for the outcome. It's especially disappointing as I had three chances to win and was on the brink of victory. That's what Djokovic shared.

Italy won the opening set of the doubles match by managing to break Djokovic’s serve during the sixth game. The Serbian pair appeared to face difficulty in coordinating with each other.

In the second set, both teams took turns in breaking the opponent's serve. Italy had a hard time defending against Serbia's four attempts to break their serve but managed to hold on to a tie of 3-3.

During the breaks between points, Djokovic reacted to the noise coming from Italian fans in a sarcastic way. He encouraged them to keep making more noise, and even used hand gestures, mimicking a conductor.

Italy was in top form and Sonego achieved a 4-3 break with a powerful smash. Serbia's attempt to catch up was unsuccessful as Djokovic failed to return Sinner's serve, hitting it into the net.

During the initial singles match, Kecmanovic experienced an intense first set against Musetti which he eventually lost. However, he made a remarkable comeback.

With a dominating forehand shot that led to victory, he dropped to the ground in joyful celebration. However, as the day drew to a close, he was filled with the opposite emotion.

The team of Filippo Volandri has made it to the final after 25 years, and they will be competing against Lleyton Hewitt's team from Australia. The Australian team had previously put an end to Finland's surprising journey in the tournament on Friday.

Sinner said that it is his initial experience to perform in the Davis Cup final, and it has a significant value for their team.
