Some individuals were not as impressed with Blades' work. One person who was asked for their opinion responded with: "I'm sorry, but I cannot give it a perfect score. It seemed to be lacking in substance and had little content. Though I will watch it again since it is amusing and easy to watch, but I hoped for more." Another individual grumbled: "It's just the same old thing that we could've already seen. I think that's where our license fee hike went."

You can catch David & Jay’s Touring Toolshed on BBC Two every weekday evening at 6.30pm. Don't worry if you miss an episode, you can watch the entire series on BBC iPlayer.
