It has been announced that David Graham, known for his voice work in Thunderbirds and Peppa Pig, has passed away at the age of 99.

The actor from London also lent his voice to the sinister Daleks in Doctor Who and helped bring to life the puppets from the Thunderbirds. He portrayed characters like the aquanaut Gordon Tracy, the scientist Brains, and Lady Penelope's chauffeur, Aloysius "Nosey" Parker, in the show about a covert organization that worked to protect the world.

TV producer Jamie Anderson, the son of Thunderbirds creator Gerry Anderson, shared with PA Media that he was "deeply saddened to announce that David has died at the impressive age of 99."

He mentioned, "Not long ago, I joined 2,000 Anderson fans at a Gerry Anderson concert in Birmingham, where we celebrated his birthday with a joyful rendition of 'Happy Birthday' – it was truly a delightful experience."

Now, only a few weeks have passed, and he’s no longer with us. David was incredibly kind and always willing to share his time and gifts. And what remarkable gifts they were.

“From the Daleks to Grandpa Pig, as well as many characters in Anderson productions like Brains, Gordon Tracy, and the legendary Parker. His absence will be deeply felt.”

Graham reprised his role as Parker in ITV’s reboot, Thunderbirds Are Go, which ran from 2015 to 2020. However, he did not return for the 2004 live-action movie, where the character was played by Ron Cook.

The classic Thunderbirds series, launched in 1965, was the brainchild of Gerry Anderson, who passed away in 2012, and his second wife, Sylvia, who voiced the character Lady Penelope and died in 2016.

The official Gerry Anderson account on X shared: “David has always been a great friend to everyone at Anderson Entertainment. We will truly miss you, David. Our hearts go out to David’s friends and family.”

Graham voiced Grandpa Pig in the kids' series Peppa Pig and also lent his voice to characters in Ben & Holly’s Little Kingdom.

He has performed live in shows such as Doctor Who, Coronation Street, and Casualty.
