The grandson of presenting legend David Dickinson had three investors fighting over him after showcasing his impressive business on Dragons’ Den, aged only 18.

Myles Dickinson-Brown entered the den and offered the likes of Deborah Meaden, Sara Davies and Peter Jones a stake in his business.

The student presented his stylish personalised credit cards business to the Dragons, asking for £35,000 in return for a 35% share in his company.

But it wasn’t just his impressive pitch and successful business at such a young age that impressed the investors.

Having just finished his A-levels, and invested £5,000 of his own money from selling old things on eBay, Strictly Come Dancing star Sara knew that Myles must have ‘entrepreneurialism in [his] bones’.

‘Is that upbringing, is that genetic?’ she asked, as Myles explained that his dad ‘runs a mortgage business’ and his granddad ‘is on TV’.

It took a few more questions for the Dragons to shockingly find out that Myles’ grandad was none other than the David Dickinson.

The TV personality, best known for Dickinson’s Real Deal, has starred on the likes of Bargain Hunt, as well as presenting his own programmes The David Dickinson Show and David Dickinson’s Name Your Price.

‘Wow, he’s really good,’ an impressed Peter commented, before offering Myles exactly the investment he was looking for.

But he wasn’t the only one.

Steven Bartlett and Touker Suleyman were also keen to share a stake in Myles’ business, leaving the power all in the young man’s hands.

And they were willing to put up a fight.

‘I am so honoured that they have to copy me,’ Peter joked, before Myles turned the tables and asked the Dragons what they could do for him.

‘Time is what you’re going to get for me,’ Touker replied, before Peter commented: ‘Nobody has mentored, helped and assisted more young people in Britain than me.’

But it was Steven’s answer that won Myles over.

‘I’m going to go one step further, you can come and work in my office with me and my team,’ he offered, before battling Peter over TikTok views.

‘I am the guy for this business,’ Steven told Myles, before his offer was ultimately chosen.

Dragons’ Den airs Thursdays at 8pm on BBC One.
