Rylan Clark stood up for his latest show, Dating Naked UK, after critics called it 'disgraceful' when it premiered on Paramount+ this week.

On Friday's episode of This Morning, Rylan commented that the show is successfully showcasing raw and unfiltered dating experiences.

He described it as being similar to Love Island but without the swimsuits, and joked that the level of responsibility is unparalleled compared to other shows.

The latest show includes 10 individuals looking for love in a tropical environment without any clothes on. Participants must overcome obstacles as more people enter the scene, causing complications in their current relationships.

Rylan explained that the show is similar to Love Island but without the bathing suits. He mentioned that viewers get to see everything without any camera tricks or hidden angles.

Rylan Clark stood up for his new show Dating Naked UK on This Morning last Friday, even though some people criticized it as 'disgraceful'.

The latest season showcases 10 individuals looking for love in a tropical environment, with the twist of being completely exposed. Participants must navigate obstacles as fresh contestants enter, potentially causing upheaval in established connections.

He described the show as being similar to "Love Island but without the swimsuits" and jokingly mentioned that the level of responsibility for the contestants is unparalleled compared to other shows.

I notice all the reviews from the same critics who praised my last performance on BBC Two are now saying it's terrible.

You may think "I don't want to watch this," but that's precisely what the show is - dating revealed without any filters.

Joel asked Rylan if any of the guys needed to take a dip in the pool to help calm down after getting aroused.

Rylan began talking about his team and the care they put into making sure the cast was comfortable during filming.

He said: 'I have to give a big shoutout, the level of care on this show was different from anything I had seen previously.'

Our participants were amazing, as well as the staff and the support team. The level of care and concern for the contestants on this show is truly unparalleled.

They are not naturists, they are not show-offs, they are none of that, they are just an ordinary guy.

Rochelle inquired Rylan whether they ought to anticipate any major surprises or unexpected turns in the story.

Rylan exclaimed, "Oh my, I'm so fortunate I'm wearing long sleeves because I have many things hidden up there."

'There are many unexpected moments and surprises throughout the journey, and the exciting part is that neither you nor they have any clue what the ultimate destination is.'

Nobody knows what it takes to win or how the format works. We have the answers, but you don't, and that's what motivates you to continue.

During the conversation about the show, he mentioned, "You can see everything, the cameras weren't strategically placed."

Rylan also admitted to Rochelle and Joel that some of the couples featured on the show are still together today.

He stated: 'We recorded this in February, and there are still couples from the show who are still in a relationship.'

Rylan compared the show to Love Island by saying to the hosts: "After coming out of Love Island, some people may be skeptical and think 'they're only doing it for the brand deals'."

However, these individuals have not been recognized in the last half a year to a year, so I am certain that it has been effective.

During the entire performance, most of the events would not have occurred if the actors were not nude. Therefore, the experimental aspect of the show was successful.

At the final moment, something unexpected occurs that makes them realize the authenticity of the situation.

The new show on Paramount+, premiering this Friday, is already being called 'Love Island but even more intense'.

Similar to Love Island, Dating Naked offers a cash prize of £50,000. However, in contrast to the popular ITV2 program, the final episode of this series has already been recorded.

Competitor Lauren, a nail technician from Hertfordshire, shared with The Sun: 'I engaged in sexual activity on the program — many of us did.'

She went on to say, "This show is way better than Love Island. When you're naked all the time, you really get to know people on a deeper level. There's no need to feel judged."

Billy, a construction worker from Essex, commented: 'Colombia can get really warm! At first, it may seem like everyone is always dressed lightly and you might wonder why.'

He added, "And by the time the second episode airs, they will be drawn into the drama."

Dan, a fitness coach from Woking, commented: 'I initially thought everyone would prefer to just train individually, but it turned out that many formed genuine connections.'

He said: 'There was a large amount of intimacy in the villa, but it wasn't just casual, emotions were definitely part of it.'

Next, he publicly thanked his team for their dedication in ensuring the cast's comfort during the filming process.

He mentioned: "I want to give a special mention to the exceptional level of care on this show. The daters were amazing, but the crew, welfare team, and all involved really went above and beyond."

Emily, a social media professional from Stockport, expressed that when you simplify things to their core essence, such as clothes or any other aspect of life, significant changes can occur.

The other participants in the competition are Chrislove, a hairstylist from Las Vegas, party-loving Canadian Dominik, and event organizer Mike, who used to date Chloe Ferry.

The leaders at Paramount+ made sure to have an intimacy coach present on set, which made the cast feel secure. As a result, the cast quickly let go of any reservations they had.

The TV show Dating Naked first started in the United States and ran for three seasons before it was taken off the air. A version of the show started in Germany in 2023.

In both versions of the show, the contestants were shown without clothes on, but VH1 made sure to blur out their private parts.

The UK version does not have any pixelation or blurring.
