The competition was almost tied and about to go into a final round, but Littler missed the bullseye wire when trying to make the "Big Fish" shot. Van Gerwen seized the opportunity and won the match with a finishing score of 85, completing it in 12 darts.

Exciting Day In Den Bosch!

Prior to this, Van Gerwen was losing 5-2 in the quarter-finals to Van Barneveld. However, he made a comeback by taking the victory using a 144 finish and a 12-dart leg where he broke throw. In the decider, he secured his spot by eliminating his opponent with a 124 finish. Additionally, Littler faced some competition from Humphries but still managed to win in the end by a final leg.

Littler won against Humphries by scoring 105 points in one turn. Even though he lost the following four rounds, he managed to make a comeback by scoring three consecutive sets of 14 points, making him score 5-4 ahead. Although he missed three chances to win the 10th round, he persevered and scored an 88 point total in the next round by getting the bullseye.

Price secured his spot in the semi-finals by hitting six maximums in a 6-3 win against Kevin Doets. In the second to last leg, he started with eight perfect darts before missing D12. Gian van Veen also won his match in a dominating fashion, taking the first five legs by the same margin against Danny Noppert.

Throughout the entire match against Price, Littler was continuously ahead and never fell behind. Price could only successfully hit the double on four out of the 16 attempts that he made. The Englishman managed to secure victory by winning three consecutive legs and throwing an average score of 98.21. This is the second week in a row that Litter has beaten the Ice Man at the semi-final stage.

Even though Van Veen broke him in the eighth leg, he managed to win the next three games. Finally, he won the game 7-4 and made it to the next round to face Littler.

Humphries And Littler: What's Ahead?

Littler and Humphries will reunite on Thursday for the final quarter-final match during the premiere night of BetMGM Premier League in Cardiff.

Van Gerwen, the current champion, is starting his journey to win a record-breaking eighth Premier League title against Michael Smith, who won the world championship last year. Peter Wright will be playing against Rob Cross, and Price will be competing against Nathan Aspinall.
