Welbeck was the first to score, marking his 100th career goal. Then, Joao Pedro scored in stoppage time to secure a win over The Red Devils, despite Amad Diallo's equalizer.

The 33-year-old said that Hurzeler has a variety of players who can have a big influence in the attacking positions.

"Each attacking player possesses unique skills that they can contribute; everyone is unique in their own way," he stated in an interview with TNT Sports.

"We have a lot of skilled players, and the manager will have a tough time deciding, but it's a good problem to have."

Having rivals in the games makes everyone want to stand out when they're playing and training every day. It's a good problem for him to have.

"I have gained a wealth of experience throughout my career, which is extremely valuable. Having the knowledge and insights from various situations has been beneficial for me on and off the field."

Welbeck scored his 100th goal against the team where he first started playing and also won two Premier League championships.

Next up for Welbeck is a match against another team he used to play for, as Brighton takes on Arsenal next weekend. You can watch the game live on TNT Sports.

Even though he admitted feeling some remorse that the achievement had not been reached earlier, the forward maintained that there were still many goals left to be scored.

"It's kind of insane how it keeps going in circles," he remarked. "I wish I had reached this era sooner."

"I've had a tough time dealing with injuries, but I'm grateful that I still feel healthy and resilient."

I can't wait to score more goals in the future - reaching 33 feels just as good as hitting 21.

"I feel great, healthy, and energized. The manager has introduced some fresh concepts and everyone has adjusted smoothly. Pre-season has been challenging; we traveled to Japan and had to quickly readjust when we got back home. Overall, it has been a positive pre-season and we have had a good start. However, we will remain grounded and focused."

Joao Pedro talked right after the game and pointed out how Hurzeler has given the players confidence that they can beat the best teams in the Premier League.

Joao Pedro mentioned: "As the manager advised us, we must have confidence in our abilities. We understand that Manchester United is a major club, but everyone is eager to demonstrate our strength."

I believe this is what drives us to challenge a formidable opponent, and anything is possible. We must now focus on the upcoming match against another tough team.

I believe Hurzeler is a wonderful individual who consistently motivates and encourages us to have faith in ourselves and persevere.

I believe that it was once again a significant match for our team, earning another three points. This is our goal - to persevere, strive, and give our all until the very end.
