I'm A Celebrity's Danny Jones reveals Sir Rod Stewart played a VERY rude joke on him and his McFly...

Danny Jones

Danny Jones from I'm A Celeb shared a story about how Sir Rod Stewart once pulled a rather inappropriate prank on him and his McFly bandmates. This joke ended up causing trouble for them with the U.S. government.

On Monday's broadcast, the 38-year-old pop singer reminisced about the time he, Tom Fletcher (39), Dougie Poynter (37), and Harry Judd (38) encountered the legendary musician behind "Maggie May" while they were guests on the American talk show, The Late Late Show.

Danny shared that Sir Rod graciously offered them a ride back to the UK on his private jet after the show. During the flight, they discussed their upcoming tour around the United States.

He clarified that Rod collected the passports of the band, and upon their arrival: "He hopped into his Rolls-Royce, retrieved our passports, and handed them over to our tour manager. All the visas were taken care of, and everything was set for our journey to America and South America."

After I shared that story with him, he found it amusing to sketch little penis drawings on our heads in our passports!

Danny Jones from I'm A Celeb, 39, disclosed that Sir Rod Stewart pulled a rather inappropriate prank on him and his McFly band members, putting them in a bit of trouble with the U.S. government.

While his campmates erupted in laughter, Danny recounted how the US immigration officials questioned him, saying, "Do you find this amusing, sir?"

He had to clarify, "No, no, no! Rod Stewart actually drew a penis on our heads!"

This follows Dean McCullough opening up about his so-called rivalry with Ant McPartlin, after sharing that he received a serious reprimand following a BushTucker Trial.

The 32-year-old Radio One DJ, who was the second contestant eliminated from the 2024 jungle, was selected for an impressive seven challenges and repeatedly expressed the phrase, "I'm A Celebrity, Get Me Out Of Here."

Despite looking anxious, Ant didn't show much compassion after one of his trials where he left early. Instead, he decided to offer a bit of 'tough love'.

In his initial interview after leaving the camp, Dean talked about his ongoing conflict with Susanna Reid and Ed Balls from GMB.

He shared with the hosts, "When Ant was scolding me for saying 'I'm A Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here,' it really felt like a genuine reprimand. I got the sense that he was serious about it."

I followed the advice I was given, hoping to win him back, and I believe I succeeded in the end.

Danny shared that after the show, Sir Rod kindly offered them a ride back to the UK on his private jet. During the flight, they mentioned their upcoming tour in the United States.

After sharing that story with him, he found it amusing to sketch phallic images on our heads in our passports!

Susanna said, “You really did! That was quite fascinating, wasn’t it? He seemed a bit tense with you, didn’t he?”

Dean responded, "Yeah, I think he was."

However, it was successful. In the end, I managed to bring home 10 stars for camp, and I received a handshake.

Susanna mentioned, "Ant McPartlin was definitely showing some tough love in that moment."

Dean also shared insights about moments that weren’t aired during the trial, explaining that the set was extremely quiet and there were numerous rules to adhere to.

He mentioned to the hosts, "I wouldn't call it love, but you definitely become accustomed to the pressure."

What you don’t notice on TV is how calm everything really is. People take things quite seriously, and there are a lot of rules to keep track of, which makes the atmosphere pretty tense. I was the first person to step out and go through these challenges, so by the end of the week, I started to get the hang of it.

As for the sand situation, I never saw that coming.

I was simply instructed to stand inside the box with my hands on the clear panel and that I might be accompanied by objects from the tomb. Honestly, I wasn't prepared for that at all.

This follows Dean McCullough addressing his ongoing rivalry with Ant McPartlin, where he shared that he received a significant reprimand after participating in a BushTucker Trial.

The 32-year-old Radio One DJ, who was the second celebrity to be eliminated from the 2024 jungle, was nominated for an impressive seven challenges and frequently exclaimed, "I'm A Celebrity, Get Me Out Of Here!" during his time there.

"I’d definitely consider doing it again; I’m open to trying it once more. With practice, you become more comfortable with things, but I can’t say I truly enjoyed the challenges."

In November, Ant acknowledged that he had acted 'unprofessionally' during Dean McCullough's earlier Bushtucker trial. This came after viewers noticed his 'angry' response when the DJ decided to give up on the challenge once more.

Viewers observed that throughout the show, Ant seemed to be a bit frustrated with Dean for not giving his best effort in his initial two challenges, and encouraged the radio host to put in more effort.

Ant subsequently spoke about his feelings during an episode of the spin-off show I'm A Celebrity: Unpacked. He admitted, "My frustration was evident on camera, and I behaved somewhat unprofessionally. There comes a moment when you just start to wonder what’s going on."
