Sad news has recently come to light in the music industry. Danielle Moore, lead singer of the band Crazy P, has passed away unexpectedly at the age of 52. This tragic event has left both fans and fellow band members of the British nu-disco group in shock.

In the past, Crazy Penis, now known as Crazy P, was formed by Chris Todd and Jim Baron in the mid-90s. The band combines disco, house, and funk music. Since 2002, Danielle Moore has been the lead singer, adding soulful lyrics to their songs like "Heartbreaker," "Eruption," and "Like a Fool."

The musical group posted a heartfelt message in honor of the cherished vocalist on Crazy P's Instagram page.

We are heartbroken to share the sad and shocking news that our beloved Danielle Moore has passed away unexpectedly and tragically," the band posted. "This tragic event took place on Friday afternoon, August 30th. We are in disbelief and we know that this news will be just as devastating for all of you."

They didn't give details about Moore's situation, but they mentioned that they are still trying to come to terms with her sudden passing. Crazy P released their latest album in 2019 and have been performing at clubs in Europe. They also released a new single in June of this year.

"We received a lot from her and we cherish her deeply," the message stated. "Our hearts are shattered."

Róisín Murphy, the Irish musician and lyricist who had a similar passion for blending disco with pop music, paid homage on X yesterday.

Murphy expressed his sadness at the passing of Moore, calling him a wonderful soul who was talented in music, a great person, and a fantastic singer, performer, and songwriter. The community will feel a deep sense of sorrow and bereavement.

Moore left a lasting impact that will always be remembered. Take a moment to celebrate Crazy P's greatest music and enjoy Moore's amazing live performance of "Eruption" in his honor.
