Crazy P vocalist Danielle Moore dies in 'sudden and tragic' circumstances

Vocalist Danielle Moore, known for being the lead singer of the electronic group Crazy P, passed away at the age of 52 in unexpected and sorrowful circumstances, as stated by the band.

Although her bandmates did not reveal the reason for her death, they expressed deep sadness and mentioned that they would require time to come to terms with the situation.

Posting a grayscale photo of the celebrity on social media, they expressed: "It is with deep sadness that we share the heart-wrenching news of the unexpected and shocking passing of our lovely Danielle Moore."

This event took place on the afternoon of Friday, August 30th. We are in disbelief about the news and we are sure you will feel the same way.

She has given us an abundance of love, and we hold her dear in our hearts. We are absolutely devastated.

We need some time to come to terms with what has happened. Danielle's life was filled with love, compassion, community, and music. She truly lived a remarkable life.

We will miss her dearly.

People who admire her creations were fast to show their respect, including Irish musician Roisin Murphy who described her as "amazing" and "one of the kindest people".

Expressing her deep respect for Moore, Murphy posted on Instagram: "A truly talented musician, a wonderful individual, and an exceptional vocalist, entertainer, and lyricist. I anticipate a profound feeling of sadness and grief among our fellow music lovers."

She brought warmth and love to everyone she encountered. Our deepest sympathies go out to her closest friends and family during this difficult time.

Fashion teacher Avarni expressed her deepest apologies: "I am truly sorry, everyone. Danielle was a shining and loving presence ... a powerful individual and one of the most lovely people I have ever had the pleasure of knowing.

What a massive, devastating loss. I'm sending love to both of you and keeping her family in my thoughts.

The House Gospel Choir shared: "We are deeply saddened and devastated by this unexpected and tragic news. Our thoughts and prayers are with everyone affected. May Danielle rest in eternal peace."

Electronic musician Tom Middleton honored Dani by saying how sad he was about the news. He expressed his condolences and love to everyone who knew her. Dani was known for being a bright and joyful presence both on and off the stage, with a beautiful voice and an infectious energy. Many people have also mentioned how kind, funny, and incredibly talented she was.

The band Crazy P was formed by Chris Todd and Jim Baron, who both graduated from Nottingham University, in the year 1995. Moore became a member of the band in 2002, along with bassist Tim Davies and percussionist Mav Kendricks.

The band that makes electronic music has put out eight albums in total. They also include elements of soul and house music in their music.

Their first songs are Digging Deeper from 1996 and There's A Better Place, which features a sample from the song Pure Imagination from the movie Willy Wonka And The Chocolate Factory, released in 1971.

In June, they put out a new song called Any Signs Of Love.

The band continues to tour extensively across the globe, with their official Facebook page listing upcoming shows in Mexico, Croatia, Spain, and Portugal this summer, along with appearances at Glastonbury and various venues throughout the UK.

Crazy P was scheduled to perform at the Forwards Festival in Bristol this past weekend but had to cancel their Sunday performance because of the sad news of Moore's passing.

The band had two recent shows on the August bank holiday weekend. They played to a big audience at Lost Village festival in Lincolnshire on Sunday 25 August, and then performed the next day at Etherow Country Park near Stockport.

After her passing was announced, the festival posted a photo of Moore DJing at the event, with the message: "This photo was taken during Moovin festival just a week ago. Rest in Peace Danielle".
